I like a little of both, but I'm mostly for heels nowadays. Lately they have been the most entertaining type of character.

Face, just because they are harder to do.

Agreed, although I went with tweener because I'm a firm believer in let the fans look at the kayfabe situation and decide for themselves. If the character a wrestler is playing is deep enough, he should have unique reactions to every situation he's placed into. Kinda draw on the performer's real personality a bit, and you're good to go.

A good face is more entertaining than a good heel, to me.
Heel is more fun to play by a long shot.

When wrestling I'm a natural heel.
In fact, becoming fluent in every language on Earth is probably easier than being a succesful face.

Yea, being a good face is starting to look like odds of winning the lottery, being struck by lightning, being abducted by aliens (not mexicans), etc.

faces in some of the past eras for certain, but when Jericho and Punk are two of the top heels in today's business, I can't not vote that.
If it's a good character and the guy portraying it is believable and good at it, I don't really care if he's a heel or face. As long as I'm entertained.

If heels don't win in a landslide here, the forum is lying through their teeth

I really wish the writers in WWE could pick up on this logic. When you let the fans decide who they like, the feuds get that much better. The Jimmy Jacobs vs. BJ Whitmer/ Colt Cabana feud from ROH is pretty much my favorite feud ever because of that reason. The characters were deep enough that the fans decided for themselves who they liked, and had stronger connections with them because of it.
People who make decisions for themselves are going to be more passionate in their beliefs.

Voted heel, though had I taken my time viewing the entire poll, I would've voted tweener.
With that said, outside of some exceptions here and there (Bret Hart for example), I've alsways found myself wanting to be the heel growing up. Sure, the babyface is the guy everyone likes and cheers for, but when I was a kid, the heels appealed me so much more.
Not to mention, the heel is always so much more of a complex character. Getting over as a face may be tough, but trying to draw real heat by playing a real, multidimensional character who's getting boo'ed for who they are and what they say rather than trying to garner cheap heat is just as difficult.

As a kid, I always liked the faces and then around the early Attitude Era is when I started to like "tweener" characters. Now I like heels the most since they seem to have better diversity in character types than the normal "good guy" face/Super Cena.
Hollywood Hogan in WCW and Bret Hart during the USA-Canada feud might be the 1st big name heels I liked since he really made the crowd hate him after years of being loved by the crowd.

I feel it's to be noted as well that the face gimmick cena is playing is one of the least diverse face types there is. So many better ways to get over without being watered down....

TBH, I'm surprised as many as six people have voted face.

I was so into Mankind's face run that I couldn't appreciate any subsequent heel turns that he did.
I loved Taz's tweener run in ECW, Austin's tweener run in WWE.
Loved Rock and Jericho's heel runs (aka, I was more entertained then filled with rage).
I respect Triple H's heel run also Giant's heel run in WCW.

I don't really like the question, it seems unfair to pick one when they rely on each other.

And yet, wholly appropriate forthe IWC.
