View Full Version : Turn Them Heel

I just finished watching the Hart Dynasty win the Unified Tag Titles, and was thinking to myself, this could be one of those opportunities to get something the WWE is lacking, a huge heel stable. Think about it, you have the young cocky up and coming "dynasty" with the "evil" woman in their corner, along with one of the cockiest (I still love him thought!!) hall of famers in Bret Hart. Thoughts?

Maybe sometime down the road they can turn heel again, but to be honest, I feel they work much better as a babyface team with Bret putting them over. The reaction they got on Monday was great.

That's always the answer. Turn them heel. Cena needs to be heel, HHH needs a heel turn, I miss heel HBK, Jericho is lame as a face now, face Edge sucks, Batista heel is the best. CM Punk and Miz are the future now but sucked in 2008. Conversely, John Morrison sucks as a face but he was the next HBK a year ago.
Pretty sure Christian is the only face that is over around these parts, and if he was a heel he'd be more over.
I suggest the Hart Dynasty stick to what they're doing, because they weren't over at all a few weeks ago and now they're super over. Did you hear their pop tonight?
For the record, they were heels up until about a month ago and they weren't getting over at all. They're over because they're faces under the Hart name, which people generally love.
I have a feeling that crowd wouldn't have exploded like they did tonight when the Harts won the titles if they had been heels.
If faces get face pops and great reactions from the crowds, there really is no reason to turn them heel.
Just seems kind of selfish and shortsighted to want to turn guys heel just because you happen to like heels better.

The tag division is the one division that needs a great babyface team the fans can get behind right now. Hart Dynasty is that team.

I wonder who they fued with now. There's not any real options at all. I guess they will throw together a team somewhere, but it would be nice for them to build a few around them.
I'd love to see Jericho fued with The Harts. It would have a lot of interesting qualities to it. Hopefully Bret would be invovled, and there'd be some great promos there. Great matches too.
I just don't know who Jericho's tag partner would be. There aren't any real natural answers. Edge would be awesome now that he's heel, but they just fueded and hate eachother. Big Show perhaps?

Jericho and The Miz would actually be a nice alliance against the harts. They'd bring a lot of heat
I bet the Miz looks for a new partner to keep feuding with the Harts. They could also have a proper program with the Dudebusters since they've had some pretty great matches together.

The Hart Dynasty w/Bret vs Jericho and The Miz in a lengthy fued. Book it

That would be the best thing to happen to the tag team division in years.

especially considering how stacked RAW is now, doubt Y2J will be in the title scene in the near future. Maybe in multi man matches (fatal four way PPV) but other than that... it will be the usual suspects. This would be great for everyone involved, Hart's get two very good opponents who are two of the best heels in the company, Jericho can have some great matches and a little bit of a feud with Bret and Miz gets a nice rub teaming with Jericho and indirectly feuding with Bret.

Yea, if Jericho had stayed put on Smackdown I'd be pretty much 100% happy with how the draft went.
It's still good though. Since they're the unified champs they can fued on both shows.
Jericho and Miz teaming would actually make sense, now that I think about it. They could bond over the fact that they're both egomaniacs, and got double crossed by Big Show.

They should turn R-Truth heel and call him R-Lies

Love this idea, but knowing the current writing staff this will never happen.

Yeah, haven't they only been faces for like 5 weeks or something?
I'm happy how they are.

Odd that this hasn't been mentioned but Morrison is on Raw now, guys... meaning Miz and Morrison are back on the same brand.
While I personally love Morrison as a face and would be against turning him, I'm sure there are some people who would like to see the best heel tag team in years, Miz and Morrison, reunite for a tag title feud with the Hart Dynasty.
Morrison and R-Truth have both been drafted to Raw. Expecting to re-kindle the tag team they started on SD and go for the tag titles. Miz has an objection to that as he still has a claim to a rematch. So he recruits... say... Zack Ryder to team with him for a number one contenders match against Morrison and Truth. During the match, Morrison attacks Truth unexpectedly. Miz and Ryder watch on in shock before Miz suddenly attacks Ryder and Miz and Morrison hug.
Thus setting up a quick number one contenders match between the turners and the turnees which Miz and Morrison win, setting up the feud. Again, my want for Morrison to become a huge babyface superstar keeps me from backing the idea 100% but it's something to discuss...

Keep Hart Dynasty face for a while until the Bret Hart thing wears off then turn them heel and berate Hart in a promo! plus WWE needs more face teams as R-Truth and Morrison won't last as they want Morrison to be heel! plus i agree to reform Miz-Mo

This would turn Ryder face in the process. Not sure if I like that, but Ryder on tv is always a plus. Hoping he gets drafted to Smackdown today where he can flourish.

After reading all this, I've come to a conclusion. The Hart Dynasty should keep the tag titles for a very long time. Why? Honestly, who's credible enough to take the straps from them? Nobody. They're the only legit tag team in WWE right now.

Also, that would be easy as hell to set up in the story lines. Miz and Y2J can say "Big Show" was the reason that they both lost the tag titles, and bingo you have a new team.

if big show is turning face you could team him with kane again than have morrison and miz reunit and if edge didn't turn heel last night you could have a face rated rko you also got the SES (mercury and Gallows) The Dude Busters, and the Hart Dynasty, jericho and Barrett once NXT is done maybe put primo and carlito back together, The Fortunate sons aka The Dibiese brothers probably and maybe bring in the briscos and the KOW to wwe and you got a great tag team division again
Mr Amazing
04-27-2010, 10:31 AM
and you can finally split the tag titles again due to the fact that they got enough good tag team s to make the title give a damn now

Yeah, I'm surprised they lasted this long without a "turn them heel" thread, too.
I'm fine with them where they are. having the crowd react as they did helped make things exciting. Turning them heel again so soon would be dumb. Though not out of keeping for the IWC.

Keep them face. I would love to see a program w/ the Hart Dynasty and Bret vs. the Dibiase Boys w/ Ted in their corner or even Cody and Ted. Play off their respective family prestige.

Then what, Mr. Amazing? Even if that went down exactly as you say it should, do you think the E is going to suddenly remember how to book a competent tag team division, let alone one with that much talent?

To be fair, 4 is barely "huge". It's one step above "bare minimum".

but Hart Dynasty is also 3-4 members

You're forgetting they have a 4th member in Joey Mercury and the possibility of Darren Young possibly joining them as well wouldn't count him out just yet. Anywho I'm glad the Dynasty are faces since the Foundation were heels for a good part of their tag champ run. Miz needs to break out own his own now if there's any duo they should get back together to put up against them is a team that has already been establshed and help them get over like Rated RKO.

I don't think "huge" really means size either. I don't think anyone alive thinks the nWo was better or "bigger" when they were half the roster, rather than just 3 members.
Same goes for a lot of stables. The best stables ever are all 3-4 members.

He said 4. Obviously, even if only for the sake of this subject, he hasn't "forgotten" the fourth member.

For my money, the better stables (DX and the Ministry) had 4+. with the Ministry capping out at I believe 8, 9 counting Paul Bearer.
I agree that most of the roster being in one stable dilutes it a bit though, especially over the long term. (See: Corporate Ministry, McMahon-Helmsley Facshime)
Too much good thing bad.

I don't know. I kind of think DX was better before the bloat. And the Ministry certainly was.
