The Miz can finally defend his US Title for the first time in like 3 months. Who are the top 3 contenders you see competing against The Miz for the title.
My Picks:
1. John Morrison - Would be excellent feud
2. R-Truth
3. Goldust(probably not but it'd be cool)

I don't think Danielson could come right in and get a title shot. I think that's ludicrous and I think anybody who was saying that he should come in anywhere near the top of the card was a fucking moron. He needs to start at the bottom and work his way up. I've always said this.
As for Otunga, of course he's getting the guest host spot. His strength lies in talking and charisma, and outside of Barrett, no one else on NXT comes close. Plus he has the free publicity of being Kate Hudson's finance. Why would they put Danielson in a spot he would never be able to fill? As Heyman says, accentuate the positives, hide the negatives.
I don't put much into what they're doing with him in terms of the losing streak or being cocky with the challenges. I won't armchair it here because I know how much you hate that, but until he's out of NXT and on the main roster, don't think you're seeing everything you've seen about Danielson. They're building him up by breaking him down, it's logical and it's a bit obvious in where they're taking it.

You may have a point here, however, with the way WWE is starting to build their young stars and pushing other talent (Sheamus, Orton, Dibiase, Punk, Swagger, Hart Dynasty) not too mention that the Smackdown roster is filled with guys that are just waiting for that push ( Kingston, Rhodes, ect.) Benoit had no personality to speak of, and people got behind his skill and determination. The vast of WWE's current talent isn't gimmick-oriented these days; they're mostly straight personas. In fact, the 80s was nothing BUT gimmicks, which means you're impressively wrong.
John Cena, Goldberg, Batista
Your examples of superior wrestlers are three guys that can't wrestle and can barely pass as listenable?

R-Truth since The Miz already proven he's better than Morrison but that's not to say he's necesserily any better than him but a decent substitute for the time being ideally i'd prefer it be Evan Bourne takes the strap.

Miz beat Morrison at Bragging Rights this past year in a decent match. He also picked up a win against Morrison at a tri brand show at some point during the year. I assume that is what he is referrring to.

Putting John Morrison against The Miz seems like easy enough booking to me. To be honest, as hot as Miz is right now, I would not be opposed to seeing Morrison win the title, either. A good US Title reign with Morrison defending against whoever the fuck he wants would do wonders for both himself and the title.
Ted DiBiase and R-Truth can have a feud. I actually quite enjoyed their backstage segment, with Truth not screaming at the guy, and instead having a bit of a southern gentleman vibe to him. Until he slapped Ted in the face, of course. Even though it's not an official title, I'd like to see them trade the Million Dollar Championship a few times. It could be a great tool in getting over their feud.
At Fatal Four Way, I'd like to see John Morrison vs. The Miz vs. Evan Bourne vs. Yoshi Tatsu and Ted DiBiase vs. R-Truth vs. Carlito vs. Goldust on the card, or something like that.

hey tyler killer: you`re a mark. you think you`re smart by echoing wwe corporates metality but that doesnt make you smart. it means that your guiliable and have bought into the greatest work in pro wrestling: that the wwe is top of the industry. it`s not. right now triple a in mexico is. with companies japan being hot on the fed tail in terms of both gate and revenue. while you`re too nieve to understand this i will say it anyway: people who have never worked for vince have "made it." and continue to do so. wrestling on YOUR tv isnt the definition of success.
you and bdc will get along great though.

Morrison will take The Miz to the Palace of Wisdom and he will come out a face and they will tag team again, this time as faces.
