WTF?!?!? Please Help!!!

I have Windows XP and a Sony Vaio Computer. My internet connection is very slow and I have no idea why.

1. Can somebody please tell me how to add/delete programs from the comp?
2. Can somebody please tell me how to delete unwanted search bars?

I am not too sure about the searchbars but with the add/remove stuff click start, then control panel and there you should find the option "Add or Remove Programs".

Thanks Tony. I figured out the toolbars, but I also have another problem. My computer is very slow. I enter a web address, for example, and it can take a good minute for the page to load. Or, I can hit "Submit Reply" when I finish typing this, and have to wait forever for the message to be sent.

http://download.com.com/3000-2239-10279992.html?tag=lst-0-6 My computer was slow aswell but I downloaded this and it checked me comp and I had nearly 200 trojans on my comp. Download it and it cleans all the spy/adware/trojans etc and makes your comp go twice as faster (it did for me anyway).
