View Full Version : Buzz Lightbeer (Aldrin) to host RAW
From PWInsider:
NASA Astronaut Buzz Aldrin is slated to be the guest host for the 5/17 Monday Night Raw in Toronto, Ontario. Aldrin's official website, www.BuzzAldrin.com, announced Aldrin's involvement about an hour ago but quickly pulled it, likely so WWE can make the "official announcement."
Aldrin was the Lunar pilot for the Apollo 11 and was the second person to step foot on the moon.

second comes right after first
I really hope there's more than one "The Moon Landing wasn't real" signs, just so he goes insane and punches a fan.

He's not a bad choice, but why Toronto? That's one of the biggest shows of the year. They should be playing up the Toronto crowd with someone they care about, not an American hero.

Can he still walk? Or do we get another wheelchair oldie?

I have a great admiration for astronauts, ofc this goes back to being a lil nipper etc. But wtf. WHY? Anyway, I hope he gets respect and WWE don't fucking show him too many times. An intro and a few of the "this is the match..." crap and we're go!

And then every time Buzz tries to make a big announcement Neil interrupts him and makes the announcement first.

A shame RVD is in TNA right now.
Dude was just on "30 Rock" this week. Is he releasing a new autobiography or something?

I am going to the Raw in Toronto and I was hoping the guest host would be someone a little more interesting.

Think Kozlov comes out and breaks him in half on behalf of the USSR and Sputnik 1? Not as a work or anything scripted either, but because that's what all elementary kids were taught to do if they ever met up with American heroes from the Cold War era?

...if this RAW really is Bret's last one, it should be built around him.
They can't afford Neil Armstrong or something?

There may be a Santino sketch, but as for the 'Swog he's on SD! now and apparently "injured" () thanks to the Sleeper hold Ziggler put on him after their match at the RAW WWE Draft 2010 show.

And WWE started caring about continuity when, exactly?
There was a point in 1998, but it didn't last too long.
