July 18 in K.C. Thinking of going.
I wonder if there will be just one MITB main event and your regular matches at the PPV. Or if they will have multiple MITB matches covering different titles or a diva's MITB match.
Also, does this event take away from the MITB match at Mania?
We had to wait till this week's raw to figure out the gimmick behind Over the Limit, so I really doubt someone can tell you what MitB will be like.

What exactly is the gimmick for Over the Limit? There's Batista and Cena with chosen stipulation but that's it, the rest are all regular matches

As long as Kane isn't listed in the ladder match, then it should be decent.

The Problem here is that the MiTB has always been a staple build up to WrestleMania, I don't see translating well into a single ppv.
For Over the Limit, I guess all main event match stipulations will be decided by Beat the Clock challenges.

i can see a mitb tournment where they have eight matches and the winners move on to the mitb match or both raw and smackdown get seperate matches where the winners get shot at the next ppv

Kane does just fine in it.

I hope they do two Money in the Bank Ladder Matches at the PPV -- one to decide a recipient of a WWE Title shot, and the other for the World Heavyweight Title. Of course, you then also have a WWE Title match and World Heavyweight Title match on the show. So there is how you use your main players for the event.
WWE Championship
Sheamus (c) vs. John Cena
World Heavyweight Championship
Jack Swagger (c) vs. Daniel Bryan (using his NXT title shot)
WWE Championship Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Chris Jericho vs. Edge vs. Evan Bourne vs. John Morrison vs. R-Truth vs. Randy Orton vs. The Miz vs. Yoshi Tatsu
World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank Ladder Match
Big Show vs. Christian vs. CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Kane vs. Kofi Kingston vs. MVP vs. Rey Mysterio
If that is indeed the case, then either MitB is off Wrestlemania or the winner is forced to cash in before this PPV which is even sadder.

I hope there are 6 money in the bank title shots given out. That would be AWESOME.

I get the feeling that the PPV will just all be Number One Contendership matches (Possibly for SummerSlam), and that's the only reason the PPV is named "Money In The Bank", seeing as that's what The MITB basically is. :-\
I don't think we'll see Ladder Matches for every Championship though. We see too many ladders a year as it is, with WrestleMania, Extreme Rules and TLC, so I don't think we'll be seeing a 4th PPV that'll have ladders involved in it in some way. I think they'll be saving the MITB Ladder Matches for WrestleMania and instead, just have MITB Singles Matches at the PPV or have various match types but it'll be a "Money In The Bank *Match Type* Match".
Also, we have a logo now, but still no poster.

I suppose that works, but it's amazingly bland.

Unless it's the main event itself I would bank on the winner cashing in it that very same night.

Wow, I'd hate to think how much the guy who designed that logo got paid.
Less than the guy who invented the Nike Skewed Checkmark I'm sure.

Probably 13 cents. I bet they use child labour or something.
