IMO, Eddie is 1 of the best and there are only a few who I would vote above him. This is one of those cases as Mr. Perfect is all around one of the best wrestlers ever to step foot in the ring

This is true, but my point of view counters his opinion, thus we have a difference of opinion, which in theory, could be solved in a debate of some sort :D

Haha, logic. But yeah, not saying Eddie had better in ring ability then Curt because the man was in fact damn near perfect, but as an overall package: with ability, mic skills, and crowd reactions, I had more fun watching Eddie.

Good round though. Both men should be in the HoF.

my vote goes to Curt Hennig

had way more memorable matches then Eddie plus the Mr Perfect gimmick was awesome

his famous 60 minute match against Nick Bockwinkel from AWA also made me choose him over Eddie

Never understood Hennig being some "huge internet sensation". He was good, but I'll personally never really "get" how is is compared to some of the greatest of all time (Not talking about his comparison to Eddie here).

Tough matchup since both were great wrestlers and both had their fair share of great feuds and wrestling skills.

I "hated" Mr Perfect as a kid watching him in the WWF since his character came off as someone too cocky but it ended up working out very well as a character. Great mat-based skills but sort of surprised he was never given a major title reign in either company similar to the Million Dollar Man looking back in retrospective.

Voted for Eddie though since he managed to take a heel character with the "lie, cheat, steal" and make it work as a face character without changing anything about the character itself. He had entertaining matches even though most of the time he was in the cruiser-weight/low card part of an event.

i cant choose one over the other both are technically sound and athletic as hell so imo in a 1on1 encounter eddie would find a way to win lie cheat and steal baby!!
