I think they'll be equal to the dudebusters (or whatever they're actually called)

<font color=goldenrod>Their "30 day contract" will likely never be mentioned on TV again. I would be very surprised if they remember it going forward.

That being said, I'm glad they remembered Hawkins.</font>

I could see them really trying to do an HBK/Diesel or Brian Kendrick/Zeke relationship between the two of them... Basically Hawkins talks all the shit, and has Archer back him up...

That's the only way I see it working too, as I really can't see me ever caring about Archer.

Sounds like a decent pairing on paper but whether it'll work out for them I haven't a clue can't tell until I've actually seen them in action which I presume they were on SD tonight correct?

I don't think I will ever enjoy watching Vance Archer.

With all the bitching that goes on about tag team wrestling, I dunno why you wouldn't want Archer/Hawkins and the Dudebusters to be successful or at least the opportunity to get over. I hope they can make it work.

I hope for the best, but they just seem so thrown together. I'll give them time to grow, but I can see the plug being pulled on them fairly quickly. The HBK/Diesel dynamic is definitely the best way to go with them, I think. I still wish that Curt Hawkins either returned to team up with Zack Ryder for feud against him, though.

Hawkins looked really crisp in the ring, too. He does a lot of little stuff, ala William Regal. He's only 25, so I hope for a bright future for him.

<font color=goldenrod>Matt Striker and Todd Grisham's commentary on Vance Archer's beard had me thinking. Mike Knox probably would have been a better guy to stick with Hawkins. He was doing nothing up for ages up until he got future endeavored, plus he would have probably looked much more imposing. Archer just looks goofy to me.</font>

They seemed to work really well together, and I'm very happy that Hawkins is finally back on tv. Whereas I'm really not sold on Vance "The House-Elf" Archer, the pairing was effective.

Hawkins seems pretty crisp in the ring. I always felt he was the better of Hawkins/Ryder, even though for some reason I initially liked Ryder better. I feel that Ryder is the Edge of the their short-lived tag team, and Hawkins is the Christian, I guess.

Saw them fight a couple local jobbers for the SD tapings and they seem like an okay tandem I can't help but think that there 30-day contract is legit.

<font color=goldenrod>I stand corrected on this. Not only was the contract mentioned, but the specific amount of days was as well.

Hopefully they defeat some actual superstars before the contract is up.</font>

Worked well together. Looked good together. Put on a decent squash match on Smackdown! Now just give them a gimmick. I like them both...always have.

It was a decent outing for a squash. They looked like a dominating tag team. Hopefully they give them more of a look/gimmick to work with because they're kind of generic right now. Granted, they have to earn that after three weeks.

They need a name, attire that matches (doesn't have to be the same type of attire), finishing move, and do tag team moves. Maybe with this 30 day contact ending they'll get the contract and change all that to look and actually be a real tag team.

Yeah, they're starting off with potential, so I really don't see them doing anything but adding to the division. I don't know if they'll make it a full year before being split, but they look decent as a team.

Mike Knox was a fucking joke.

You are a goober.
