Message from Wendy Dio
Today my heart is broken, Ronnie passed away at 7:45am 16th May. Many, many friends and family were able to say their private good-byes before he peacefully passed away. Ronnie knew how much he was loved by all. We so appreciate the love and support that you have all given us. Please give us a few days of privacy to deal with this terrible loss. Please know he loved you all and his music will live on forever.

This saddens me. I'm listening to "Last in Line."

Ah man, that sucks. Never a huge fan or anything, but I got a lot of his solo albums and recognise his achievements in heavy metal. R.I.P. :(

R.I.P Dio. :(

What a huge loss, he was one of the true greats.

I was able to see Dio perform with Sabbath on the Metal Masters tour along with Judas Priest in August 2008. Age was just a number for Dio, he could still deliver the goods on stage better than singers half his age.

Damn.

He was the grandfather of heavy metal music. Such a huge loss, but what a legacy he left behind.

I am sure he is in hell right now, rocking out with Satan.

Or in heaven, fighting god in an epic battle.

Shit, God's getting pointers on how to hit some of those notes as we speak.

Fuck...terrible year for me.
Pete Steele, Frank Frazetta and now Dio? fuck my life.
R.I.P. Dio. Saw him live back in 2003. For his age, he put on a hell of a show.

I heard Dio died of a poisonous dragon bite from a dragon he was fighting to save the Earth. The goverment made them say it was cancer to keep dragons a myth. But I know better, Dio didn't go out like some punk bitch to cancer, he went out swinging at dragons.

Well, thankfully his blood is poisonous to Dragons as well, right?

I remember banging a chick in the men's room while listening to him singing Holy Diver at one of his shows, great times.

A true legend and an incredible voice.
