Getting it along with Red Dead tomorrow. But, it's going on the back burner. I've kept an eye on it.

A demo would be nice. Going on the back burner tho. I have 482345789235 things to spend money on now that I am moving.

My cousin described it as " a fucking Stephen King novel". So I guess that makes it a lukewarm horror mystery with a cock.

Been playing this basically all night and it is really good so far. The controls can be a little clunky at times, but everything comes together nicely combat wise. The combat is pretty basic aim flashlight then shoot stuff. Though I did just pick up some flares which add a new dynamic.

The story is really where this game shines. The decision to make this game episodic was really good choice. It really feels like I'm playing some new kick ass tv show, that i can't wait to tune into every week. Most importantly the horror factor is there, and in pretty strong fashion. Have jumped at a couple of parts already, and almost let out a scream over a garbage can falling over. Also there is some awesome music in this game. So far I say it is living up to the hype.

I've played through the first episode and this game is cool. I need to brush up on my aiming skills with an analog stick and being able to master the dodge move, though.

IMO, it's a solid buy.

Just beat Episode 4 last night and wow. The story to this game is incredible. Add in the fact that the music fits perfectly with the game and you have a good thing going there. The only huge pain in the ass is all those damned collectables are a bit of a pain to keep up with.

Also, the stage battle in Episode 4 at the Anderson Farm, is freaking badass!

My major gripe right now is fighting enemies. I focus on three enemies in front of me and then a fourth comes out of nowhere from my/the camera's blind spot. And it feels that doing 180 degree turns seems just a hair too slow, even with sensitivity turned to max.

Finished it. Overall was a really good experience albeit a little short. The story is interesting, and I enjoyed the gameplay, and the atmosphere was spot on. Think I wanna go back through and try to snatch up all the collectibles.

My favorite part.

When Barry shows up wrapped in christmas lights, wearing a head lamp, and talking about the light of Mordor had me cracking up.

SO I beat the game last night, and the ending confused me a bit. Playing it on Nightmare now to see if I can get a 2nd glance of things and see if the nightmare manuscripts add anything else.

Tried to start this a few times now. Get all the way to the main menu, but something always comes up or I go play something else.

Really like the game so far. Ammo is a little low and there's no melee attack so I usually end up having to just run away from enemies after a certain point, but other than that it seems pretty great so far.

When does the DLC become active? Tell me it's not when it says like "58 days left", when you look at it from the game's menu.

Ugh. July 27. Probably too far away for me to wanna play the game again. That's the mistake ME2 made. I had already moved on to other games to care about the DLC.

I finally started this today. I got caught without ammo a few times and I kept wishing a melee move was built in. I ain't one to run from a fight, but I wish the ammo cap was up more.

Don't understand how you guys are having trouble with ammo. Even on Nightmare, I never ran into a point where I was out of ammo. You guys have gotta go out of your way and look for those chests.

Assuming you're talking about where his wife says ''Alan, wake up'', my interpretation was that he just wrote it so that it was all a dream. Like, the nightmare or whatever that he was having at the beginning was just that, a nightmare and nothing more.
