First off, I am not one to bitch and moan about what I see on T.V, however, this weeks RAW was horrible. Why you ask? Here are my reasons:
1) Booking: Your in Canada, you expect the Canadian crowd to cheer Canadians. So what do you do? Book Canadians to "feud" with Canadians. Jericho/Hart and Christian/Edge. In my opinion this killed the crowd even though it was still better than any crowd I've seen on TV in a long time.
2) Buzz Aldrine: :nono: Enough said.
3) Michael Cole: This guy got on my nerves tonight more than any night in recent history. I didn't mind the Hart bashing after that match, but the promo before Evan Bourne's match, during the match, and after the match... He is a complete idiot and should be taken off T.V.
4) Bret's Match: This was a great moment for "The Hitman" and all of his fans, which includes me. However, did WWE hire Russo and his writers to write this match? Way too many run ins and quite frankly confused the live crowd along with myself.
5) This is mostly for us Canadians who did not receive a commercial free Raw. Reading the thread here on TPWW (That plug would make that pig Michael Cole proud) we missed out on some stuff. Not sure if it was entertaining, however some of the matches were interrupted but unlike normal Raws, these commercials came out of no where.
I know this may cause some harsh shots taken at my expense, but this is just my opinion. What are your thoughts?

I know what you mean though. It seems like every time they're in America, they have Americans feuding with each other. It's like "dude, do you even know how to book?" I mean come on!

Little thought...
The Canadian Advertising Industry IS the true regulatory body of the Canadian Radio, Television, and Telecommunications Commission(CRTC).
They black out the U.S. ads during the highest-rated American 'money' shows AND the Super Bowl.
i.e. Say we here in Canada have NBC, CBS, or FOX on Channel 15, and CTV on Channel 16, then on Suoer Bowl Sunday, CTV orders it's local affiliates to use 'simultaneous substitution' to duplicate CTV on BOTH Channels 15 AND 16, thereby killing cross-border ad competition AT THE BORDER.
What did CTV air during Super Bowl XLIV here? Old commercial campaigns used for years and Vancouver 2010 hype IN ALL COMMERCIAL BREAKS. That, and sometimes their ad breaks overran game action.
It's as if they are trying to claim TV PRODUCTION rights, when they aren't the producers at all. The NFL, NBC, CBS, and FOX are.
But what does the Canadian Media industry exclusively care about? Making billions hand over fist just to gorge on greed to stay alive. I'd rather see the Canadian Media industry collapse entirely.
That's, sadly, what Canada has become under both major political parties. A FUCKING CORPORATE DEMOCRACY! Where the general public has had their Constitution forcibly suspended.
If our PM died tomorrow, I'd SHIT on his fucking grave.
Eat Shit, Canadian Media industry.
End Explosion. >=(

You should have been watching Hockey then if you wanted a Canadian Suck and Fuck Fest
(0 Percent of their TV audience is still in the US, so pardon them for not going all out to please that meager 17k at the show.

Honestly I though the only times the Toronto crowd was noisy was for the hometown or big name entrances but during the matches I could almost hear crickets chirping.

I noticed they really had the music and the commentary cranked up.

Raw was fucking great for the most part. Other than a couple of times i didn't feel like changing the channel.

:y:
The Buzz Aldrin live segment made me almost switch off the TV but it was a great episode otherwise. Even the Diva's segment had something in it, regardless of the smackdown presence.

The Diva tag match was actually good. Want to see where LayCool goes and Layla is looked good in the ring. Felt like the Bellas spent a lot of time in the ring. They weren't bad, but it was just odd considering Eve is the champ. Eve did look good when she was in though. I wonder if it being one of the better Diva tag matches had anything to do with the absence of Kelly Kelly...

Yes the diva match was suprisingly good for a change but the talent was there afterallit was just used properly which helps a great deal.
