I was watching some old videos and was wondering how far they could've gone if they'd stayed as Too Much and heels because they were amazing. Their arrogance and ambiguou sexuality with Scott Taylor's tendency to do some dance moves instead of wrestling and Brian Christopher's irritating walk and laugh proper gets the crowd riled. Plus Jerry Lawler's influence. They were brilliant

I was a much, much, MUCH bigger fan of Too Much than I was of Too Cool. However, I'm not sure if Too Much would have gotten as big as Too Cool eventually did had they continued down that path.

They were good as Too Much, but like Thrilla said they definitely wouldn't have gotten as big if it weren't for the change to Too Cool. The real game changer was the addition of Rikishi. I remember when they were still heels and they had their new dance look. It wasn't long after that until Rikishi joined. I'm not sure how they intended to book Rikishi because they started him on Jakked with not much build, but every time he came out he got a face reaction and from there they pretty much had no choice but to turn Too Cool.
