With Red Dead Redemption really perfecting the Wild West genre, I'd love to see Rockstar take on a futuristic game with the same open-ended gameplay of RDR and GTA.
I'm not talking a game where it's post-apocalyptic and all that bullshit, because that's been overdone. But a game set in, say, 2150 in a futuristic version of Liberty City. Kind of like Futurama's take on the future without space travel.
I think this has a lot of potential and I can't really think of a game that's anything like this. It's all post-apocalyptic wars and/or based on other planets.
Flying cars, lazer guns, etc. Definitely borrow concepts/references from movies like Demolition Man.
Thoughts?
