Try to get Hagar.
I'll do it if shelter/food/cash money/microphone/new belt is provided. My devastating voice/face combo shall make thee famous.

There is potential for a new guy, who is actually pretty good. And he also oozes confidence. I think mostly, he just seems good compared to the shite that was the old guy.
Can I get an update here?

I got drunk and quit the band. Everyone decided to stick with me than the singer.

ugh! There's more to it than that! Details man, details! What did you say? How did it get to the point where it was either you or the singer?

Hes a good friend of mine, but he is not up to the potential that the rest of us in the band are. I really like the music I make, until I bring it to jam, and then I dislike it.
I want the vocals to go in a different direction.

So you Scott Stapp'd him?

I never said I was completely happy with the vocals. I just said the dude was my friend and I didn't want to kick him out.

Didn't you spend most of another thread claiming you didn't care what people here, thought of your ex-vocalist. All this time, it was LIES!!!

Eh.. not horrible, but it sounds like he is straining way too hard as he sings. Like he is trying to squeeze out a huge dump. 1:20-ish was kind of cringe-worthy. Idk.. unless that's the weird sound you're going for. He's not steady at all, and kind of off-key sounding, and those 'screams' sound way too forced and grunty.

He's better than the other guy but he isn't that good. Try to get the In Flames guy.

El Vaq's on my ignore list so I have no idea what he even said.
I'll try to get a better recording with this dude. All we have up on our myspace is an instrumental right now. http://www.myspace.com/inskepsis

I dunno, I think he's pretty good and will get better with practice and will have stage presence.

Yeah, the whole vocal was done in one take, and he's sounding better every day.
I'm going to give him a month to get his shit in shape. He definitely has a lot more potential than the previous.

I'm so hurt that Turd-Waffle would put me on his ignore list.
Anyways, back to the thread. Now that the band are on the way to finding a vocalist who might be able to hit a note, they might also want to find a decent guitarist.

This is nice not knowing what he said. I feel better.

even i'm considering putting him on my ignore list (he'd be the first one, and that includes heyman, who i haven't ignored to date, which should tell you something here) because it is the most boring, old, tired fucking gimmick on the board and every time i see one of his posts i think "hey, maybe el vaq has brought something to the conversation" and every time it turns out that i am bitterly disappointed because the record is scratched, the needle skipped, and he's stuck in this ridiculously unfunny loop and cum obsession.
it's as bad as sascha following kane knight everywhere and reposting all his posts as "i'm a bitch" then laughing about it uncontrollably to his retarded self.

I agree. So childish and immature.
The creativity is delicious.
