Last friday I got a chance to meet and get an autograph with, the man they call Goldberg. He is actually a very humble man, well spoken and told me that Randy Savage is just as crazy off camera as he was on (It's what you wanna hear but I kinda wanted him to say he was very shy and timid). Looking back, he got over durring that mid/ late 90's time in WCW. He left wrestling before he got too stale and actually talked about returning. What were your thoughts on Goldberg, he's in his early 40's and still in pretty good shape, would you hate to see him in the ring?

Maybe my memory is vague, but the Marine uniform looks somewhat like the Aussie dessert uniform. Minus the brown colors for yellow.

I have all the respect in the world for Goldberg, knew his limits, took full advantages of his plus points, seems like a good guy and was bona fide the hottest thing in pro wrestling at one point. Not half as bad as the internet is capable of making him out to be at times. Of course he had his weaknesses but pro wrestling history is better for Bill Goldberg having been involved in it.

I'd have nothing against him being involved in something, spear a guy here, jackhammer a guy there and maybe a PPV match where he can be 'looked after' but nothing more.

He seems fine I thought it was stupid that he left WWE "for not being used the right way"

I like him, but I'm not too bothered about seeing him again. If he returned it'd be awesome, but if he didn't I wouldn't loose any sleep over it.

I've never heard a bad thing about him outside the ring though, so respect for that, plus he did/does a lot of charity work. :y:

On another note: Goldberg VS John Cena would be interesting, and if Goldberg was to face Undertaker at a Wrestlemania would be pretty cool.

I met Goldberg when I was younger at my area mall.

Let me just say that WCW did a great job at his character, and the WWE's Gillberg was amusing as well.

I do not want to see Goldberg wrestle again as he will most likely be pushed over mid-card guys to get to Cena..... leading to a match between them..... something that I would definately view as a trainwreck.....

WCW did an awesome job of booking Goldberg until his streak was over. He was not a good in-ring worker but was at least capable of having good matches with the right opponnent. They threw it all away by having Nash be the guy to end the streak. Did Goldberg even win the title after that in WCW? I don't think he did. The company should have been built around them in those last few years in WCW.

He also should have won the title at Summerslam 2003 instead of waiting a month later, as that crowd at SS03 was really into Goldberg and it was the special kind of crowd reaction that could make someone a star.

He's Too Old, Love To See He Come Back for some matches but don't think that will happen

Didn't Bobby H. say that Goldberg losing the title to Nash was what did WCW in?

Triple H keeping the title at SS03 was stupid, plain and simple.
