Is it still the redneck who thinks it's real?

Surely you are not talking about AEFan?

In all seriousness, the average fan is smarter about the business- in terms of entertainment value, internet forums, knowing what's kayfabe- and watches more for short term entertainment than in-depth marking for years.

It should be a fake cake with a digital recording of Cena going "You can't EAT me!" and like, a robot hand waving in front of his mouth.

That Cena cake looks like one of the faces from the How Are You Feeling Today? chart.

I thought there maybe had been progress until on a recent trip to Philadelphia a girl suggested to me that Bret had seriously tricked Vince with the leg injury to get him into the WM match.

It's definetly not a hardcore beer drinking redneck.

I would say that the hardcore beer drinking redneck has tuned out of TNA,WWE all together due to the Homosexuality, rise of african americans, and the censoring of beer drinking and groping of women.

It's safe to say that they've plugged into UFC and MMA.

They were turned off after ECW closed up, then went to WWE to see the Attitude Era end and the Cena days to begin.

They went to TNA to only see people like Awesome Kong, and Orlando Jordan gaining all the spotlight.

Therefore, it looks like the current wrestling fans are children and younger teen/adult men.

most of wrestling fans today especially WWE are either kids that only follows John Cena and other faces because they're good and hate the heels becasue they're bad and get upset when they find out it's real. i don't like watching wrestling with kids because they ask me too many questions.

young teens/adults tend to follow TNA to turn away from WWE's PG product and for nostalgia reasons. oh and Hulkamaniacs watch TNA.

we have to invite the "its still real to me dammit" guy backstage to see it's all kayfabe, if he knows what that means.

I feel like RiX1024 reposts everything I say in every thread, just in a different use of words.

Seriously..

Come up with your own thought before I hex you.

I sense TheAdamEvansFan re-states all that I articulate in every theme sequence, simply in an alternate utilisation of prose.

Earnestly..

Furnish your unique deliberation ahead of me casting an enchantment upon you.

There are 3 types of fans...

Fan 1: "The know it all": Usually this fan comes from the 90's, and they are always saying stuff like, "This again?", "Why are they trying to bring this back alive?", "What is this PG stuff?", & even a "Cena Sucks!". Yadda yadda like that. Basically this fan refuses to let go of their childhood and doesn't want to accept the new times.

Fan 2: "Whatever": This fan usually grew up around the same time as the "The Know It All" fan. The big diffrence is that this fan has accepted growing up, and watches the product for what it is, entertainment and a business at the same time. This one is more easy going, usually just fast forwarding through the stuff they don't care for instead of complaining about it all day and night. This fan watches the parts they want to watch and move on.

Fan 3: "The Freshman": Brand new fan! Loves the product to death, very curious about the "Ol days" and in love with the current stuff. This fan still feels it's real to them, and are somewhat emotionally attached to the storyline/characters. They are usually the fan that brings up the topic of "wrestling" at the work place, school, etc. etc.

Long, greasy hair.

Bedroom with pizza boxes, empty glasses and open wrestling DVDs on the floor.

Bad patchy facial hair.

T-Shirts with slogans of Heavy Metal bands.

Living at home well into their 30's.

Smelly.

Virgin.

I dunno, I dont think nobody cares today to think of a stereotypical wrestling fan anymore because so few ppl in the mainstream care about wrestling now so its just some stuff kids watch imo...
