I was really impressed with Harris and Joe Hennig. Great things are expected universally of Kaval but I somehow find Alex Riley's chances of winning the whole thing a lot greater. The other 4 can kiss my ass.

It's from the Nutty Professor...
I think Riley stood out for me. I expected guys like Kaval, Hennig, Harris, etc to be a cut above. Still a long way to go though.

Honestly don't think the WWE has ever done a ripoff theme this badly. WCW did it all the time though:

Percy Watson was my favorite of those who wrestled yesterday. Harris is a close second. Didn't really care for O'Neil and Cottonwood though.
Now I'm looking forward to seeing Kaval and McGillicutty in action. I must say I don't care much for Cannon or Riley. Nowinski was better in his role. Sneezing in the mic? Come on.

Percy Watson looks like he'll get over really quick with this gimmick but the problem is that it is a mid-card gimmick.

Saw Percy a couple of times at FCW.
First time I saw him I was like..WTF is this..
but eventually, he grew on me. Good performer. As pointed out previously, mid card gimmick tho. I could see him becoming something among the lines of Santino.

husky wasnt bad and percy allthough he got whooped the whole match has a pretty nice finisher and doesnt lack confidence
hennig is my choice like his mic skills and he has all the tools to succeed easily although hes 30 hes only been in the biz for what 2-3 years he looks eager to get out there and put a hurting on someone
am also anxiously awaiting the arrival of the kaval- warriors way

Must admit he's one of the few I see that has potential but currently despite not having a match yet I know Alex Riley is probably the best of this crop.

percy is awesome. im rooting for him and hennig. fuck cottonwood, that random black guy who says if you want to win, make it a win, and husky harris
Percy is interesting and talented but he comes cross to me as "too gimmicky" if that makes any sense

Which makes me wonder why he wasn't paired with Mark Henry.

Not that it's a big deal or anything but it's pretty funny that for a show featuring guys who are "wild and young" - most of them are quite old for rookies. Husky is likely the youngest by a good margin at 23. Can't find the b-days for Cannon, Riley, or Watson but my guess would be late 20s for them. But Titus turned 33 a couple months ago, Kaval and Hennig turn 31 in a few months, and Cottonwood turns 36 in a few months.
Anyway, my thoughts on each:
-Percy Watson: Love him, hella fun. Couldn't stop laughing when his glasses stayed on as he wrestled. If NXT1 winds up invading and trying to recruit the NXT2 guys, Watson's the one guy I simply couldn't see switching - the guy is a face all the way. Cool finisher, too.
-Kaval: It's Low Ki, so I already know what to expect. If the aforementioned NXT1 recruitment ended up happening, Kaval could switch due to being pissed about his being paired with Lay-Cool.
-Michael McGillicutty: Ditto for him, he could jump ship because WWE humiliated him with a horrible name. Anyway, he seems really comfortable on the mic and I'm pretty certain he'll do just fine in the ring.
-Titus O'Neil: Horrible first impression. Very generic in the ring, and seemingly can't talk. Already seems like he'll be this season's Michael Tarver. Hopefully he can find a way to make himself interesting as Tarver did.
-Husky Harris: Moves around much better in the ring than I expected, love his big back splash. Doesn't appear to be much of a talker so far, but we'll see how that changes as the season goes on.
-Alex Riley: Really like his character, stupid sneeze notwithstanding. He'll work really well with The Miz. I've also heard good things about his ring work so hopefully he'll be competing next week.
-Eli Cottonwood: Interesting look for a giant. The announcers put across his weirdness, so I hope he slowly backs into the psychopath character he had in FCW. They seem to have "humanized" him to an extent, I believe they even mentioned that he used to be in the NBA. We'll see.
-Lucky Cannon: Thank god they made his "real" name Jason Cannon with "Lucky" just being a nickname. Anyway, he really didn't do anything so I'll withhold judgment - again I've heard good things about his ring work, hopefully it can shine through next week.

I told a friend of mine that Percy Watson looks like a Gay Urkel on Steroids.
McGilliHennig is easily the best of the bunch, and doesn't have to have a generic douche bag character to get over. When I said I forgot about who trained him, I was making reference to Harley. My friend was like "Yeah, he can definitely work, then."

Loved Percy on the mic and in the ring he wasn't too bad. Of course Kaval I know the best and I love him. Then I really liked Alex Reilly, he was pretty amazing on the mic, especially for somebody I have never herd of before. I like Husky in the ring he was on. The only ones I wasn't impressed with would be Titus and El Gigante they both sucked. And sorry, but I prefer wrestlers on steroids, his build just looks weird.

They need to give Percy a theme intro that goes "HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERE's PERCY!", that would be hilaroous.

I'm gonna go out there and say I didnt hate seeing the pair of Titus O'Neil and Zach Ryder. The "barking" thing is a fraternity thing from what I've heard, maybe he could become Ryder's running buddy. Kinda play them up as a heel "were cooler than you" tag team

First and foremost....why is this lovely Jenny Cash NOT on my mainstream wrestling programs yet? She sounds ten times better than Savannah as an announcer, and she's not what I would consider bad looking.
As far as Jackson goes, he's got some charisma, and per usual, his success depends on what they decide to do with him. I couldn't help but empathize with him. Maybe it's the faces he makes, but so far I like him.
Joe Hennig and Alex Riley are going to be this season's standouts. Most already know what Kaval can do. Hennig and Riley, on the other hand, are virtually unknowns. Both seem comfortable on the mic and I can't wait to see Hennig get some extended ring time.
And Husky Harris. I don't like the name, but he's got a certain look about him. And he was solid in the ring thus far. He also seems pretty quick and limber for a big man.
I have zero interest in the other guys.
