I meant a very seasoned veteran he's pushing 40 for crying out loud and most of the ones you mentioned were never real scoring threats by comparison but he's still younger than Chelios at least.

Agreed. Although I REALLY think that Detroit is going to go downhill fast as one of the sole reasons they have done so well is drafting late round europeans who turn out to be stars and the person who found them, one, Hakan Loob, has now departed from the organization.

He was the one who found Zberg, Dats and Lidstrom (at least to my knowledge)

He is the one who told them to take Jacob Markstrom and not Thomas McCollum

Think he is the one who found Hudler, Holmstrom and Franzen as well.

I could be wrong one some of them, but I know the man is a scouting legend.

Also gotta say, if their goaltending works, edmonton is going to be fucking scary good in a couple years

Usually will catch any highlight reel stuff on Sportsnet or TSN or whatever after I get home.
