You want to see real stupidity?

Check Maddox's and read the e-mails he got about his April Fools joke.

EDIT: Heres the link, lovingly entitled "How do you dumbasses manage to breathe?" (http://maddox.xmission.com/c.cgi?u=april_fools_you_morons)

I know what you mean, man. I can't even download mp3s anymore because some of them have good production quality. All of these bands are selling out to make their music sound "good", and the raw essence of black metal is starting to die. All of these posers are starting to discover bands like Nordvargr, Aaskereia, Soulreaper, Gaahlskagg, Bilskirnir, Myrkskog, and the ultimate sellouts... Darkthrone. You know the music industry is a disgrace when you can find merchandise for Mayhem on ebay. If they really cared about the true ways of Norsk Arysk Black Metal, they wouldn't have merchandise in the first place.

Long live Ildjarn, the only true black metal band.

you should hear UK radio. I have to listen to that shit at work, and I can't turn it off.

We don't have a single good radio station

The only radio station I listen to is Xfm, and they quite frequently play really boring and depressing stuff. Every now and then they sneak in some good music though :y: Oh, and Radio 1 used to be good with Mark and Lard.

Other than that, you have Capital FM which I find completly terrible. Chris Tarrant was taking in music requests once, and someone asked for "Keep Fishin'" by Weezer, and said they didn't have that so they will play something "similar" - Sugababes.

Don't even let me get started on Heart. My mom has that playing all day in my kitchen, and I don't think they have ever changed their playlist.

Wow. I'll be right over to put you out of your misery.

That's really a raw deal.

Reminds me of back in High school. Both my drafting and electronics classes were into country music heavily. :|

we have capital gold, or something, which has it's moments. you get some beatles songs, and it's about 60% good, but it's nothing beyond the 80s. usually 60s and stuff, and i think the playlist is the same every damn day

That's pretty decent, but the reception is shite.

I care not for a single other radio station though.

Just to give you a rough idea of how bad it is, the radio station "rock fm" plays dido, craig david and chrstina agulier... however you spell it.

I don't know if when they came up with the name they meant rock as in pebble or stone or something, but you know, I feel I've been mislead somewhat.

We've got that in common. over here, there are rock stations playing Linkin Park, Eminem, and Pink.

Rock?

Right.

on that note, I would like to announce that the beatles are the world's first hip-hop act.

Whis is why I like the River (WRSI). They advertise "celebrating musical diversity."

I've heard everything on there but death metal and baroque period pieces.

Rock, folk, country, latin (I mean the real stuff, not the ricky martin wannabes out there), jazz, swing, blues, rap, country (I can put up with the occasional song if I've gotta), afro-cuban, senagelese folk...

At night, they tend to have their player on random.

On Radio 2, at 7 pm, on wednesday's and thursday, methinks, they have a country show which I lis...occasionally....rarely listen too. :shifty:

But UK radio jobs as a whole.

I still hate country.

But I'll put up with the odd country song to hear a nice mix of other shit.

I just pray they don't put Cash's cover of "hurt" back on heavy rotation.
