Another newbie here  hey all!!

Just thought i'd ask about Triple Cage Maches...i've seen one with Arquette, Jarrett and DDP and loved the concept. Does anybody know how many more of these matches there were and where i might be able to download/buy them?

There was one at Uncensored 96. It pitted the Dungeon of Doom, Arn Anderson Lex Lugar, and Ric Flair vs Hogan and Savage. Try half.com to purchase it.

Wasn't Scott Steiner in one once on Nitro during the Russo era?

One of the low points in WCW history. Not only was Hulk Hogan being booked to seem so invincible that it took 7 men to even compete with him and Savage, but I beleive this is the match where Abdulah the Butcher was "electrocuted." :nono:

Different match, actually. That was the "Chamber of Horrors" match that also included...well, I don't remember who else was in it, but I think it might have been Cactus Jack throwing the switch.

But, yes, this was Hogan and Savage squashing Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Meng, Barbarian, Lex Luger, Kevin Sullivan, Ze Gangsta (Zeus), & The Ultimate Solution (?) in a "Tower of Doom."

Nah, that was Halloween Havoc 91 I believe where Abdulah got fried. That wasn't a Triple Cage match though.

At a Nitro in Dallas that I went to (I have pics somewhere if anybody wants to see em I could post) there was one with Nash, Booker T, Steiner, Sting, and a few others. I think 8 people total. Nash won.

That one shows Booker T, Jarrett, and Sting up in the middle cage. Some kind of clusterf*ck going on in the bottom cage. Nash is powerbombing somebody, the only other person I can make out is Steiner.

Steiner chasing Jarrett on the top of the bottom cage (outside the middle cage). Not sure who that is in the bottom corner, looks like Goldberg, but I don't remember him being in the match.

Sting, Jarrett, Russo (in hockey gear), and a few others in the bottom. Kronic and a few others in the middle.

They aren't great pics. There are a few more, but sadly those are the best of the bunch.

They ought to bring it back in WWE in some kind of one time only alternative to the elimination chamber.

I'm surprised Eric Bischoff hasn't tried to use it on a RAW PPV.

By the way, welcome to the boards!

That's what it looked like in the pics, but I must've blocked it from my memory or something. Thanks for clearing it up for me.

I liked the Triple Cage matches. I remember alot of stuff but I remember mostly of when someone was about to go out the door and Goldberg speared him through the fence before he reached it. I think that was on Nitro. I keep on watching the Arquette (spell?), DDP, Jarrett match.

That was a World Title match with Booker T. defending against Vince Russo, and I think Goldberg. Booker was about to exit the cage via the door, when Goldberg speared Russo through the cage fencing and became the champion. He later vacated it on Thunder, and made a match for the vacated belt between Booker and Jeff Jarrett on the 10/2/00 Nitro. I think it was a gimmick match where the title was in one of six boxes that were on four poles.

BTW, the Nitro triple cage match where Nash won was called "Wargames 2000," and was a world title match before the Fall Brawl PPV.

I loved the concept of the Triple Cage, but at the same time it was too complicated to pull a good match out of in my opinion.
