Do you think there will ever be a case where we can debate hogan VS rock as the best WM moment?
That match had the stars, the hype, and the delivery
I think only flairs retirement dwarfs this as best moment ever

As far as icon of the past vs icon of today, definitely not. Hogan is pro wrestling, Rock was at his peak in the Attitude era. Can't be topped.

Hogans biggest WM moment was being in the ring with this man:

Rock/Hogan wasn't even the best moment at that WrestleMania. The two greatest performers of our generation collided in the main event of WrestleMania XVIII in Toronto,Ontario,Canada in the legendary SkyDome. The Undisputed Championship was on the line, and a classic was delivered by these two living legends.

I'm not sure if you're serious but that match was decent/good at best. It was one of the worst built WrestleMania main events ever. The crowd was dead as this match was only 2 matches after Rock/Hogan. A lot of people in the stadium left after Rock/Hogan.

JamesSteele, what? That WM main event is universally known as a huge flop and and underbuilt mess. It was completely predictable, the crowd was more or less dead, Jericho wasn't built to look like a legitimate threat toward Triple H, and it followed Hall/SCSA AND Rock/Hogan. The actual match itself was good but many of the aforementioned elements ruined it.

In terms of hype it probably is Hogan's biggest Mania just due to how much bigger the company was at the time than his earlier days. But everything being equal, it's a tough call between Wrestlemania V and Wrestlemania VI. V is the better match and has a better build, but VI has more prestige because both titles are on the line.

Despite WM 18 being booked to be Triple H's "glorious" moment, I think the Wrestlemania 2000 fatal four-way was a bigger deal just because of how much of the public eye was on the WWF at the time. The boom period was peaking and the WWF SNL episode hosted by the Rock had just aired. That match was the culmination of around six months of storylines and sort of broke Triple H through into being a star "outside" of the confines of the WWF.
The four way match itself might not have been spectacular but it had all the other necessary qualities, including hype and fan reaction.

Maybe could rival Hogan-Rock in terms of mainstream hype because wrestling was still pretty kayfabed then. But realistically the match was a bodyslam because Andre was in bad shape at that point. Probably the most important of all of them in terms of them finally getting the Wrestlemania concept right. That's pretty important for non-wrestling reasons.

Nobody is attacking anybody. You make these wild claims all the time that can't really be supported, of course people are going to call you on them. Wrestlemania 18 was by far the worst main event of that era and it is widely known to be that. I myself, think it's a little underrated by most interpretations, but it is FAR from what you're making it out to be. The main event suffered horribly from lack of build and from the fact the the WM18 mid-card trounced and overshadowed it. Not to mention, Jericho was never really taken seriously as the champion in the first place because there was an extreme lack of build going to him winning the belt (Not to mention that he cheated in EVERY title defense. Not that I'm against that but it definitely took away from his "big match" legitimacy)
All the pieces are there guy, put them together and don't frown too much on the fact that you'll be the very last one to do it. Like I said, I think that the ME is actually a bit underrated because of the way that they managed to do alot with what they had to work with, but that can't change the fact that it was just thrown together and was sloppy as fuck as a whole.

There was a buildup of Jericho as champion. He did win in chickenshit heel ways, BUT HE WAS A CHICKENSHIT HEEL! I still remember going nuts when Jericho told off The Rock. The Rock was cutting a typical promo about how The Rock was going to beat Jericho and go on to WrestleMania yada yada. Jericho cut him off and cut a passionate promo about how he won't be walked over. He is the Undisputed Champion and etc. Yeah, he did the "evil ref" thing with Neil Patrick but it worked.
Then they had an excellent build-up to No Way Out where Jericho went over Stone Cold Steve Austin. Jericho was established as a heel champion, and then they logically fused with the Stephanie/HHH divorce storyline. Were there elements that were not great, yes, but there were far from the abomination so many of you make it out to be. Everybody knew Triple H was going to win, but that wasn't the point. If you bitched about every predictable WrestleMania main event...you'd bitch about almost every one of them. Then, we go to WrestleMania and they put on an awesome match. Yes, the crowd was worn out but Jericho and HHH put on a great match. I have never understood everybody shitting on the entire thing like it is equal to the Gimmick Battle Royal on the greatness scale. Nothing could have followed Rock/Hogan in terms of crowd involvement/etc. but it was worthy of a WrestleMania main event and there was no doubt going in that HHH/Y2J was the main event. Rock/Hogan shocked people with Hogan getting that reaction. The match was staring contests mixed in with typical punch exchanges and finisher paloozas. It certainly was a moment frozen in time, but you can't tell me a majority of wrestling fans around the world completely shit on Triple H coming back from career-threatening injuries to come back become Undisputed Champion.

It is true. My opinions, and most others on TPWW, don't matter to you because they conflict with yours. You believe you are correct 99% of the time and just make fun of those who don't agree with you.
Pot, meet kettle. Do you not understand that you're doing the same thing but to a greater extent? You have many people that are refuting your claims but you ignore everything we say and continue to go on your extravagant Triple H hissy fits.
By your own definition, you're acting far more "self-important" than anybody here.

Juan, even you can't spoil my happiness. I have found both Rocko's Modern Life and The Angry Beavers on Netflix Instant Queue.

Y'all are saying I am completely wrong and can't fathom how anyone can see otherwise. I understand how people can find it underwhelming, but shitting on it is quite unnecessary.

The reason you have people acting this way is because of the way that you talk about things like they're the greatest things that have ever happened. It's ridiculously annoying. But you know that. You can't just accept it for what it is, you have to try to make it into something that it isn't to annoy people.

It only annoys those who can't handle differing opinions.

No, I'm fairly certain that you do it for the very purpose of being annoying.
Let's settle at this fishing hole, ya'll. The one next to the crick

When discussing fishing holes, "crick" is the acceptable word.

Also acceptable would be "acrossed the street" and "warsh the clothes" if they happened to be in the conversation.

Hogan v. Warrior, WrestleMania VI. Say what you want about the match and Warrior, but that match had HYPE and energy, a great crowd, and face v. face you really can't go wrong with because the outcomes seem more unpredictable, when it comes to a WrestleMania event anyway.

Go vote for weaker labor laws.
If Cena beat Taker at Wrestlemania it would equal it for reaction, in an adverse way, instead of everyone cheering, Cena would be killed by baying fans.
