View Full Version : What is this all about?

Noticed this in that Wrestling Observer report on Danielson everyone's been posting.
Seems to be getting lost in the shuffle of the all the contreversy.

With respect to the possibility of Vince working his own employees, he's definitely capable of it, and a much more "insane" situation is currently going on with a much bigger name than Danielson in WWE right now

What the hell?

I noticed that when I read the report. Wonder what's the deal?

What could that even mean? Talk about a massive cliffhanger.

Hard to even describe how the "IWC" would implode if this was referring to Jericho's heat over the gameshow job, and he happened to be released/pushed out in the next few days or weeks.

They would be using a lot of caps lock during justin.tv streams of Raw.

The NXT thing is real and they just can't control them. They wait every week to attack. To make sure it's on camera. They all have wrestling gear on too. Just in case they get into the building.

I love how TNA are 'suddenly changing forever' as soon as this whole shit started.

It's been suspected for quite some time that The Big Show is on crack, but recently surfaced photographic evidence has management in a frenzy.

I'm gonna throw a random speculation out there and say that Undertaker wants to take multiple months off a year and work only a select number of PPVs. Vince wants more out of him if he's going to be paying him so much and is threatening to fire him if he does not show more commitment and not give him a proper sendoff. In retaliation, Undertaker is threatening to quit all together.

Somebody mentioned in the Danielson thread that maybe it has to do with Shane McMahon still working for WWE.

That would be pretty intense if Vince handed the reigns over to Shane on television. Vince has been saying his character is done for ages now only to invariably come back...if he wrote himself off, Shane would be the logical candidate to take over. It still seems weird to me that he left, and I haven't heard of anything from him since.

Of course it's just speculation, but with Shawn Michaels retiring, Batista leaving, Triple H taking time off, The Undertaker injured and wanting a reduced schedule, Rey Mysterio waiting to do the same, Chris Jericho getting a new talk show, Edge talking about retirement -- maybe there is just an even more heightened sense that new stars need to be created, so when someone they were looking to push to the moon is out the door (whether he should be or not), there is just that heightened level of stress.

And, I mean, I love him, but Evan Bourne only got like 7% of the vote against Kane and Mark Henry last week just after teaming with the WWE Champion and scoring a pin in the main event. I don't suspect they will punish Bourne for this or anything, but he's a long way from "made" in the fans' eyes, it seems.

Seriously, it would not surprise me to see Wade Barrett take the WWE Title from John Cena as early as Fatal 4 Way, just to "create a new star" and get these NXT guys over like Rover (well, try to get them over, anyway). I also see Triple H returning very soon, and perhaps even *gasp* main event nudges for Christian and MVP.

As per Regal, he never left.

Matt hardy is Eugene, that was the whole point of that post. I guess you didn't watch NXT season 1 finale?

I was exhausted that night and fell asleep before it ended.
I missed something besides Wade Barrett winning?

There was a good promo "clash" between all the pro's in there (except Carlito of course), worth watching.

I actually had my first wrestling dream last night. It lasted about 20 seconds, before it became about the sequel to The Dark Knight, but in it, Vince was dying. Because Shane had left, Linda had left and Stephanie wanted out of the business side of things to raise her kids -- Vince didn't know who to leave the company to. He apparently wanted someone with his actual genes to do it.

Why there is "insane" stuff happening backstage. Vince was stressed to the max.
