Mitch and I should mod this forum.

I guarantee this forum will prosper under our guidance; we the guardians of good taste.

As mod, I promise more SRRM thread for all. Also, maybe I'll do some music reviews that aren't totally pretentious.

Oh, and no Metallica threads. Sorry Diesel Mac.

i agree wholeheartedly with the sentiments expressed in razor's post. we can and might rejuvenate this forum.

Will you delete all the threads that say "delete this thread"? Those are real eyesores.

mitchables

yes, and we will also delete some that don't explicitly instruct us to but are clearly begging for it

Approved.

reviews are a given. both razor and i are men with pens as sharp as our wits, and so much substance people read our articles and get arrested for substance abuse (whaaat?).

also, i might throw in live reviews of gigs that i go to as well. maybe try and get some ordered sense of music news. bring this forum up to the calibre that our brothers in the tv/movies/books forum have.

you are probably one of this sub forum's worst offenders in terms of thinking you know much more than you actually do, and you prove it on a post to post basis.

Now I know you guys are knowledgeable about music and all, but you're coming across as pretentious twats.

Now I know you guys are knowledgeable about music and all, but you're coming across as pretentious twats.

we never said we weren't pretentious twats to be fair.

and also to be fair we are not just knowledgeable about music, we are passionate about music. i have close to 4000 albums spanning the last sixty years. we are not, contrary to how we are often painted, closed minded indie prats. we have robust, worldly tastes and want to stimulate discussion about all kinds of music but everyone's so caught up in slagging each others' tastes that threads rarely make it past the first page. some knowledgeable pretentious passion is downright warranted

I propose that I also moderate this forum.

Pot. Meet kettle.

that is so fucking stupid. i already know you. we are not remotely meeting for the first time, even if i was the hypocrite you think i am.

consider any of penner's threads. look how constructive you are there. it's not much to ask you to be either helpful or just stay out, because your constant derision of him is overplayed and unnecessary. you're a parody of yourself these days. what happened to you?

I would do it but I do not see how mods make a forum better, doesn't make ne sense

Not like you are being promoted to "Senior Editor" of the forum or something

I already moderate this forum and do a craptastic job.

But I am slowly getting more involved with TPWW again, now that my life is a little more stable, so I will be do a slightly better job and don't see how these two modding could be a bad thing run-on sentence.
