I am currently torrenting GTA IV and Gears of War on my PC for PC.

If anyone here has done this, is there any consequences for playing these games online similar to that of playing ripped games on modded xbox's?

The Windows Live stuff is blocked in the crack normally, so no online play and no achievements.
