Pardon the french language version, but I'm lazy.

I picked this up because it's on sale this week. For five bucks, it's a pretty decent. I'm not sure I'd go full price, but whatever.

I'd never actually played the board game, but I like the way it plays. A little slower than I'd prefer, but I don't really care too much.

I'm digging the strategery elements to it.

It's a strategy board game. Like, literally, since it's just an adaptation with cool little animations. You have a hand of cards (In the XBLA game, you unlock more through playing, making it a CCG of sorts) on a map of "tiles" Units are deployed via the cards, and you have cards used to affect various elements of the game. Various "tiles" on the board have different terrain effects, giving bonuses and penalties for combat.

America Versus the Nazis, the victory conditions on the boards seem to vary. Things like "occupy your enemy's home tile" or "destroy all units" are pretty standard, though.

It's new to me.

And it's sorta turn based.

Yeah, I got nothing. Sorry.

Might have to check this out. I use to play the Panzer General series big time back in the day. Toughest yet most in depth strategy game out there. Shit..I spent days trying to beat the Soviet breakout of Stalingrad.
