View Full Version : SCSA not the GM

- As mentioned before, WWE teased Steve Austin as being the anonymous General Manager on last night's RAW. Austin sometimes Tweets during RAW but didn't last night. However, he wrote the following after the show: "busy all day folks...working on a project to be shot in Vancouver in a few weeks....more details later...gonna hit the hay..good night."

Fans bombarded Austin's account with comments and about him being the General Manager and the teasers on RAW. Austin replied: "I missed it but it sounds like It was an interesting RAW."

As noted before, sources indicate that WWE does not have Austin planned as the General Manager.

Those tweets don't really give any information. I hope that's not the evidence the sources are going on.

How can he be the anonymous GM and NOT watch the show?

Thank you for this unsourced copy and paste citing anonymous sources. I'd be more inclined to believe that he was after reading that "article". Especially with a tweet that says nothing one way or the other.

Now there's a 4% chance in my head it's Austin, up from 0%.

Pretty easily, since I'm 100% sure that the real GM was not typing messages to Michael Cole live as the show went on.

Bret didn't watch the show where he was announced to face The Miz, and he WAS GM.

That's what I assume will happen, but it's a pretty risky gamble on WWE's part to tease the return of their company's biggest stars, unless they have an equally big star lined up.

Jeritron
07-06-2010, 02:03 PM
Well, they've already teased Austin, so unless it ends up being him or The Rock, they've already made that gamble and set up for the letdown

#BROKEN Hasney
07-06-2010, 02:04 PM
If it's HHH, WWE won't see that as being a let-down despite bigger names being teased.

Jeritron
07-06-2010, 02:05 PM
I'm sure they will tease The Rock next week, and probably someone else. Maybe Shawn Michaels.
It will end up being HHH.

Unless by some outside chance it was The Rock or Shawn Michaels, in which case they wouldn't tease them. It will not be them though. And it will not be Danielson. Are people out of their minds?

Are you saying that makes it any less likely that it will be HHH?

I would bet all my marbles on him being revealed as this mystery GM. Who are the other possibilities?
The Rock is a longshot. Danielson is pure wishful thinking from the internet. I don't know who else is even a legitimate candidate.

JR would be acceptable IMO

Jeritron
07-06-2010, 02:18 PM
Isn't WWE's whole issue that JR is too old fashioned and old aged to be calling their product?
Didn't they want to phase him out to move in another direction with their new business model?

If this is the case I don't see why they'd take him off commentary for that reason, and then make him the focal point of a major storyline on camera.

Supreme Olajuwon
07-06-2010, 02:23 PM
They don't necessarily have to take the GM angle to a point where the GM is a heel or a face getting mixed up in storylines. They could just as easily bring it back to the Tunney/Monsoon days where the guy in charge was just a neutral authority figure. And JR would make a great authority figure.

WHAT THE FUCK?

Thank you for ruining Austins return, thank you for ruining what would have been my only mark out moment in a year.

WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU TYPE "SPOILERS" WHEN YOU TYPE WHAT THE SPOILER IS RIGHT BESIDE IT!!!!!!!!!

Now I know Austin is confirmed, he is my favourite wrestler, hearing his damn music hit would have made me mark out so bad, but no, you have to fucking ruin it, couldn't you make the title "Raw GM major spoilers" alone? Seriously man, use your goddam brain. Why mark for spoilers when the spoiler is right beside where you mark for spoilers.

Fuck this shit, you're not the only one who does it, so many people do, i am out of the fucking wrestling forum besides for tipsters until this storyline is over, see you all April July 12th.

Next week it'll be The Rock. The week after, it'll be Shawn Michaels, and then they will tease it's Triple H. Finally, Michael Cole will admit he was making it all up and that he's the GM.

And then they reveal it was actually Vince McMahon all along.

Michael Cole on next week's Raw: "The GM says: 'Oh, it's true. It's damn true. Stone Cold is not the GM, brother, although that would be absolutely perfect. What is true, tough guy, is that everyone has a price, so show me the puppies and snap into a slim jim before you're fired. Woooooooooo!'" :|

How can he be the anonymous GM and NOT watch the show?

Very easily actually. The show is scripted. And, sometimes, because of last minute injuries or no-shows they have to write a whole new script on the fly. In theory, they could have any Joe-Shmo off the street come in and be like "read this really quick, then go out and do your best in the ring bud."

So, Stone Cold could show up, they could tell him a bunch of rookies are doing a hostile takeover angle, and tell him to go out there in the ring and cut a Vintage Stone Cold Interview about how he's here to raise some hell. If anyone gets out of line with him, he'll give them the Stone Cold Stunner. "If you wanna see the black Cena get a Stone Cold Stunner, Give me a Hell Yeah!" He's here to control the Nexus and the WWE superstars "And that's the bottom line cause Stone Cold said so". Chug a few beers.

Obviously it is Steve Austin, but in response to the PG Era WWE, hes now Cold Stone Steve Austin and he downs ice cream cones from Cold Stone Creamery and says "Gimme a Gotta Have it!"

The Guy on the UFC fight that called him Cold Stone blew it for WWE.
