The video shows both wrestlers "breaking character" durring a match at some indy show. Supposedly Jim Duggan was drunk and unprofessional according to Matt, and I have actually heard that story several times before (showing up drunk/ on drugs, being stiff, refusing to sell). I have alot of respect for Duggan after his battle with cancer and I loved watching him wrestle growing up. Has anyone else heard stories about Duggan doing things like that?

I caught this on You Tube yesterday while searching Matt Bourne videos. I was also shocked. I must say this is the first instance I have ever heard of Duggan being unprofessional.

MATT BORNE AND HACKSAW DUGGAN END UP IN SHOOT LAST WEEKEND
By Tommy Fierro on 2010-05-12 17:21:12

Last Saturday night at an independent wrestling show in New York, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and Matt Borne's match turned into a shoot. Things quickly took a turn for the worse earlier in the evening when Duggan and Borne went to talk over their match backstage. Duggan, who was scheduled to go over in the match in five minutes, tried to tell Borne exactly what they were going to do for the match - with Borne getting beat with a spear for the finish. Borne felt disrespected by this, as he's been in the business just as long as Duggan and it's common knowledge that a hell usually calls and dictates the flow of a match.

Once the two former WWE Superstars went out for their match, things feel apart quickly when Duggan kicked Borne dead in his face.

Duggan slamming vodka at Applebees would have been funny to see.

Ap-ple-Bees! Ap-ple-Bees! Ap-ple-Bees! HOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Also, sounds like Greg Valentine is hard up for work as well if he has to show up to carry the US Flag for Duggan at some HS Gym.

He pretty much destroyed the Berlyn character by refusing to sell his offense during Berlyn's "debut."

ok I just watched the duggan vs berlyn match. Yeah he was working very very stiff in the early going and no sold damn near every move Berlyn attempted. This match was embarrassing for him.

I thought I heard that Duggan also did that to somebody else durring his WCW run. It obviously wasnt somebody important/ memorable.
