View Full Version : So if they were to turn Cena next week...

This isn't about whether Cena should be turned or not. We all have our opinions on that.

My question is, if they were to turn John Cena full-on heel next week, what do the Cena fans do? Do they continue to cheer their hero? Do they migrate to another wrestler? Do they all stop watching?

WHAT HAPPENS?

what is nexus doing for the PPV anyway?

I would guess young fans (12 and under) quit watching. Most everyone else would move on to someone else or become slightly disinterested at the most.

Probably quit watching. Turning Cena heel at this point would be a huge mistake.

Not sure, my guess would be they start booing like they're supposed to.

EVAN BOURNE #1 RAW FACE

or not

I could see them turning Sheamus face. He's got a cartoonish gimmick for the little kids.

Droford hit it... Bourne would be the big face, along with Orton... Wow, did I just say that... I see a lot of kids being HUGELY disappointed but still watching... They want to see what's next just like the rest of us... that's how we all got hooked...

Even the great Hogan turned eventually... And technically after Sheamus ran like a schoolgirl crying to Cena last week, they could face-turn him... easily...

Would Cena ever turn heel again?

Great question! Something tells me Wade Barrett will steal someone's spot in MitB and steal the belt off a victorious Sheamus.

If at all Cena turns heel (which negates my above assumption), the kids will still cheer him for being the cool heel. He will face face Orton while Sheamus-Barrett carries on till past summerslam/whenever HHH returns.

I would have to think it would get the same reaction as Hogan got when he turned on WCW and went to the Black and White. However, eventually the crowd will turn and Nexus (I hate that name by the way) will become over, much like the nWo did.

I always wonder if the "pop" Cena gets when his music hits is ACTUALLY happening, or WWE made it part of his theme, so no matter the reaction he gets, there is a pop.

I doubt it affects viewers.

More likely, in my estimation, it kills the merch sales he gets. I think most of the kids will take to booing him, and adults will probably split the difference. Smarks will cheer him because being heel=instant cred.

you gotta have a face for the fans to route for against him. What good is the heat of the heel turn if not?Like when Austin went heel. You had The Rock as the guy that all of Austin's die hard fans wanted to see take him out.But he was so good as heel that he made the fans love him as a bad guy.
