From PWInsider:
I am very sorry to report that WWE Hall of Famer Bobby Heenan has suffered several injuries in the last several weeks.
In a posting on the official message board for the NWA Legends convention, T-Mart Promotions, which was bringing the all time great in to the weekend for a signing, announced Heenan would be forced to pull out.
The announcement noted that Heenan would be undergoing surgery on 8/4 for a broken shoulder. Heenan fell several weeks ago, breaking his hip. While he was in rehabilitation, he slipping and suffered the broken shoulder as well as a fractured hip. Sad news :(
I see Heenan as a man who reads what the fans think on his "free time".
If you ever come across this Heenan just know that I love you & respect you.
THANK YOU for what you have done for the business and the childhood memories.
Peace and love,

It proves how much respect I have for Heenan that I'm refraining from making any of the 493 tasteless jokes that come to mind right now.

From PWInsider:
I am very sorry to report that WWE Hall of Famer Bobby "The Taco" Heenan has suffered several injuries in the last several weeks.
In a posting on the official message board for the NWA Legends convention, T-Mart Promotions, which was bringing the all time great in to the weekend for a signing, announced Heenan would be forced to pull out. (Editors note: What you get for eating a shit load of tacos)
The announcement noted that Heenan would be undergoing surgery on 8/4 for a broken shoulder. Heenan fell several weeks ago, from over eating to many taco's, and their for breaking his hip. While he was in rehabilitation, he slipped and suffered the broken shoulder as well as a fractured hip. Heenan had originally planned to attend the signing via wheelchair but due to the surgery, and removing the taco's from his system that will not be possible.
On behalf of everyone associated with PWInsider.com, we'd like to wish Heenan and his family the best during this trying time.
Happy Taco DAY

Bobby who??
He's suffering way too much.
As bad as this sounds I think it would be better (for him) if he passed away.

This is really sad to hear. I loved The Brain's antics, but I loved his commentary even more.
Bobby, from one more fan, I wish you a speedy recovery and all the best.

with the way this last decade has gone for him I'm not so sure even he would agree with you that this is better than dying.
Poor man i feel for him. :(

Heenan is one of the greatest managers of all time and it's sucks to see all of the shit he has had to go through. I wish him the best and hope the surgery goes good.

:( Its been a tough year or so for him.
Was wondering how it was possible to get an injury on the same spot he was rehabilitating but then remembered how fragile he became the last few years.

Truly very sad... he was one of my favorites when I was growing up and his work with Gorilla Monsoon on Prime Time is CLASSIC.
