Yeah, just thinking about what games you'd like to see "vintage sequels" to, where it's similar to Mega Man 9 and 10, with a full throw back, or New Super Mario Brothers with updated graphics and more modern mechanics but essentially the same thing.

Mario 2 is definitely up there for me. Its gameplay is so different from the main Mario series that it could use a direct sequel.

I could go for some VINTAGE ZELDA.

Preferably with updated graphics, but only because the original Zelda titles kinda hurt my eyes.

agreed on Zelda (especially OoT)

erm, FF7 and Goldeneye. that's basically my holy trinity of video games.

FF7 with FF13 graphics would actually make me jizz.

Smash TV would be a fun one. I only played it for a rental, but that kind of basic shoot-em-up sort of fun would be cool.

Not sure if I'll ever get tired of twin stick shooters and similar.

Rogue Squadron usually makes my list. I love Rogue Leader to pieces and Rebel Strike was okay. There wasn't much to add for Rebel Strike, though, so to some extent I guess it'd be a remake.

I'm surprised we haven't seen some sort of XBLA version of Gauntlet Dark Legacy. I would love to play that online.

None. I was all for this type of thing but it's already becoming overkill. I want some decent new IP.

Can't believe they haven't done a vintage Mario update. It's a license to print money.

Resident Evil 2. It already had an "enhanced" version on the N64 but nothing of the type of how Resident Evil 1 got a remake and then added Crimson Heads for added horror.

WWF No Mercy/Wrestlemania 2000 but more for returning the old control style than actual gameplay changes.

There is a new Goldeneye 007 title in the works, but it's only set to be released on Wii and DS. :n:

That was a re-spriting of Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yume_K%C5%8Dj%C5%8D:_Doki_Doki_Panic). Don't think a sequel was ever released, tho itd be cool to get one

You mean New Super Mario Bros and New Super Mario Bros Wii? Nintendo is printing million dollar bills as we speak.

Would like to see a new Toe jam and Earl game released on xbox arcade one day. Would settle with them just releasing the old ones on the arcade to be honest.

Yes, I'm perfectly aware that Mario 2 USA was Doki Doki Panic and that Mario 2 was originally released in Japan where it was deemed "too hard" for the US and thus did not come over here until it was released on All-Stars as The Lost Levels.

Honestly, though, I do see Yoshi's Island as sort of the predecessor to Mario 2. I still want a Mario 2 USA sequel, though.
