This:y:
I will be waiting outside ASDA at midnight to get it for £25, like I did last year.

Yeah will definitely be picking this one up, still playing Fifa 10 and the new options that will be in 11 sound great. Really interested in the creation options as well.

Think I only played a few games against my bro online last year and half a season of Be a Pro. Was too similar to 09 and I was already burnt out on that.

If it wasn't for xbox live, I would've thrown my copy of 10 away after a few weeks.
This is still one of my favourite multiplayer games though and I'm joining Impeccable in the queue outside ASDA.

I have 09 and I love it, but it kinda sucks because all my friends and fam I played FIFA with competitively are thousands of miles away. :'(

Is there still no penalty system for people who do that?

At least this year there is no achievement for quitting unlike in FIFA 10

3 hours and I haven't even noticed a subtle difference in the gameplay engine.
Wow.
That's because you know what a real football game looks like ;)

Wow.
See, this is why I'm not sure about picking it up.
Yeah, it's nice to have new kits and accurate teams but, really, what's changed? You can play as the keeper. Meh.

That doesn't make sense. I play FIFA 10 a lot on the 360 and when I tried the demo for FIFA 11 it was completely different. It's a lot harder for a start (the AI has definitely improved) and it feels a lot more natural when you are playing the ball. What have I missed here??

Maybe I play 10 so much that the subtle differences feel massive, dunno.
I dunno. I haven't played it yet. I wanted to know how different it was.

Might be best to download the demo and try it yourself because Hasney and I are cancelling each other out. Although he might be ahead on panda points.

Yeah there's definitely massive differences in the gameplay. The passing system feels a lot more realistic and the players seem so much more like themselves. The long range shots feel amazing this year too with the right player.

Yeah agree with you on the passing. On legendary last season you could pass a team to death even if they were better than you. Started 11 as Bradford with my VP so that he can improve with the team, feel like I'm working hard for wins and they actually mean something. Had a game in the cup against Sheff Wed away and they took the lead with an early Clinton Morrison goal but I managed to keep going got a late equaliser and managed to grab a winner in extra time, early success for Bradford.
Not as easy in the transfer market either, managed to get Nouble on loan from West Ham short term just to see if it's going to be any easier in the January transfer window because I've only got £1.4million (after selling somebody for £800k) and £8k in wages to spend and that doesn't get you a lot in this game. Don't want to commit all my funds at an early stage in case I don't get any next time round. It doesn't look like that sponsorship money per game aspect is in this year so the money isn't exactly rolling in.
Enjoying it so far.
damn I loved that League Cup away victory over Sheff wed in extra time :D

What is everyone getting this for? I'm getting it for 360. Maybe PS3 if everyone is getting it for that

I'm quite alright with 09 still. Might get 11 later on.

I enjoy the game however, they should have held back on the release as some parts clearly haven't been tested. If they have, the testers need replacing.

Didn't feel like starting a new thread for it but my dad picked up the World Cup game for me as a throw-in gift as its the only major sport I don't have a game for yet and it was cheaper than FIFA 11.
Holy fucking christ am I bad. I've tried 3 different online world cups (matches go by fast at 6 minute halves) and I've finished 4th in the group stage each time, record is now 2 draws and 7 losses. Losses range from an absurd 9-1 loss as Germany at the hands of Argentina to a crushing 1-0 defeat as Japan to Brazil when the goal I gave up was with about half a second left in stoppage time.
I've had some matches where I never even had a shot on target. The opponent wins the ball from me within seconds and all of their players seem to outrun my players at all times.
Feel like I'm probably never going to win a match unless I devote serious time in practice mode, learning how to set up plays and do all those fancy footwork moves. I've also come to the conclusion that I will only be playing against 4 and 5 star rated teams since nobody seems to want to try and win it the hard way. :(
