Ricky "the Dragon" Steamboat

I'm not going to lie, my knowledge of the dragon is not very good. I know he put on a pretty decent match with Jericho. I've seen a few matches with him and Austin, and to me it looked like Ricky was the better wrestler against Stunning Steve the Dragon Slayer. I'm going to have to catch up before I make a vote. But I've heard enough good things to decide that he deserved his shot here.

I'd have to give him a very high 8 great wrestler and passable on the mic.

8 - Great in the ring, very meh on the mic. Plus, he's the definition of one dimensional...I could be wrong, but I can't remember him going heel at any point in his career.

I remember when he cut a heated promo on the Dangerous Alliance on an episode of WCW Saturday Night, promoting an eight-man tag, where Sting, Dustin Rhodes, and Barry Windham were his partners and he had a ninja seconding him.

Great in the ring, i didnt mind his mic work, but never worked heel so i gave him a 9, only thing he was missing IMO.

10, he's supposed to be past his prime but he is better in the ring than most guys 20+ years younger than him.

10

He's no Kevin Nash mind you. But a 10, one of those wrestlers I just cannot fault in anyway.

10 all the way he was always perfect in the ring he has worked for all the major companies and always made an excellent impact. He has also learned his place and understands how important it is to get the young guys over. Unlike Hogan and Flair who only exist to get paid most of TNAs budget to do nothing and hold back all the younger guys. The only young guy they have really but into the spot light is AJ Styles. But this is about Steamboat.

He has the Midas touch if Steamboat raped you it would be a 5 star rape and rape of the year.

It's a shame he would never wrestle again after his recent hospitalization. I really enjoyed him wrestling again every once in a while.

HBK would have topped Kurt had the trolls not been retarded, five people gave him 1's. That's why I made the JCA

Great series of matches with Ric Flair, Rick Rude, Steve Austin, Jake Roberts, Randy Savage etc etc.

Great promos when he was allowed to do them, and the WWE really dropped the ball letting him go before he went to feud with Flair for the World Title. Steamboat should have been one of the top guys in the WWE after what he did with Savage at Wrestlemania 3. Guess somebody must have been upset that they stole the show away from Hogan and Andre.

I'm voting 10.

Plus, he took time off to see the birth of his son.

I was gonna give him a 7 then I watched Jake Roberts DDT him on concrete and it made me remeber how wrestlers used to be.He didn't need to sell that because it was legit. The great thing is he would have sold it properly. By the way this message is directed at John(My Fans also love Justin Bieber)Cena. He gets an 8 for a lack of mic skills and inability to turn heel.

His combination of strength, technical skill, martial arts, and aerial wrestling make him one of the all-time best performers in the ring, and he was one of the greatest baby faces the business has ever seen. Unfortunately, his promo skills were as boring as they come, but I'll give him an 8.
