I DUNNO

There really isnt much...he is still under contract for next year but he is pissed off about no extension or something

Plus they asked him to restructure since he takes up about 10% of cap room but he wouldn't and got all "disrespected" and shit

yeah, thought is he's gone, rumor is he'll be delt in the draft.

As for the Miami thing, from what I've heard so far, the cop over-reacted and has a history w/ athletes or something.

Law wants top CB money w/ a huge signing bonus, which he's a great player when he wants, but isn't getting younger and w/ the new rules on CB's it's suspect to hurt him alot, cause he's a speed/clutch and grab guy.

Usually police are allowed to over react when they pull someone over and he takes off on them :p then runs away and says not to touch him cause he's a pro-athlete.. LOL what a guy... I would have punched him in the balls really hard.

I'm hearing mixed reports, there saying cops we're directing traffic, he was told to do one thing and did something else, weather he was confused or not paying attention or just ignoring the cop, isn't know.

But there saying the cop over-reacted and this cop has a history...

will be interesting to see, cause Law has had a pretty clean record, the only issue was I think weed or pills found in his bad coming over from Canada after a bills game, and he claimed it was his "cousins" and no charges were persued.

I tend to think it was more an arogant athlete, but anything's possible.

oh yeah, and here's the "popular version" of what happened with Law.

He went to Belicheck after the 2001 superbowl and said "I want to help the team and restructure" and Bill said "No need, just stick with what you have and I'll take care of you when your contract is up"

Now, Belicheck of course wont even agree if this conversation ever took place, and when he's been asked about Law calling him a "liar" he has refused comment.

Honestly, I don't buy it... I think Bill would have jumped at restructure Law's deal.

Also, LAw has said for years, that he "doesn't restructure" he's said "When I first signed my deal, I was "underpaid" now at the end of my deal they say I'm over paid, well I guss it evens out"

He wants the type of deal Bailey got, he's missing the fact that Bailey did get a huge signing bonus, but is like 5years younger.

I like LAw, great player, but I think he is getting older, the new rules enforcements will hurt his game, and I give Belichek the benefit of the doubt... I mean, he's gotten rid of Milloy, Bledsoe, players that we're the "heart" of the franchise and managed to win 2 superbowls so far...

the story I heard about him and the traffic that they were directing traffic then when they told him to go one way he went the other, so they pulled him over, he stopped then as one of the cops got out of his car Law sped off... then there was more then one cop chasing him after that, then they stopped him and he took off on foot. Then when they tackled him to the ground he said that they had no right to touch him cause he's a pro athlete...

as for the story before he had like 700 pills of X crossing the boarder, whether they were his or not I dunno and don't really care... but that's a lot of X hahaha

he just seems like a disgruntled player now though, I don't really follow football as close and I follow hockey but Tkachuk when he was in winnipeg he wanted a new contract the year they left winnipeg which wouldn't bother most people... except for the fact he signed a 7 year contract the year before :| I have no respect for players that do that no matter who they are... I mean look at mark Mcguire in St.Louis the year he retired I remember reading that the cards offered him a 2 year 44 million contract and he said no... He showed class

If that's the real story then he deserved what he got.

wtf

700 pills of X, is Law running a rave club or something?

Yeah, Mark McGuire is one of the classiest guys around. You don't find many McGuires anymore. :(

Now, keep in mind at the time "Andro" was legal... but do you think if he was still playing today he'd be getting "roids" chants, and the same coverage bonds did?

He stayed away from the media.
He flipped out when someone reported the Andro in his locker
He retired shortly after breaking the record and as all the questions about roids and supplements came out, some think he still could/wanted to play, but knew if he retired and just disapeared (haven't seen him do any TV stuff) people might leave him alone.

We really need Law to come back. A shutdown corner is a must in the NFL

VEL are you implying that Big Mac used roids?

Stop beating around the bush and just say it if thats what you are implying

I dont blame him for retiring after breaking the record, considering the media made his and Sammys race something it wasnt.

I just question how good he will be w/ the new rules enforcements.

That, and if they replace him... trade up for Taylor, or get the CB from V-Tech.... I won't be worried.

Did he use roids? dunno, I wasn't there at the time to have him piss in a cup, but everyone talks about the change in Bonds from rookie year to today, look at McGwire, now given, even in his young years in Oakland he could crank Homers, but the size difference is the same if not more then Bonds.

He did use Andro, that there's no question about. It's now a banned substance in MLB and at the time he used it was already banned in other sports (it takes MLB a while to ban things, because of the control the players assocation has).

So, if you consider Andro to be a Roid, then "Hell Yeah" McG was on roids.

This is the best I could come up with

http://www.everwonder.com/david/bonds/order/bondsrc.jpghttp://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/ap/20040418/capt.fxpb10304182314.dodgers_giants_fxpb103.jpg

http://dsp.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/p879189dt.jpghttp://espn.go.com/i/mlb/profiles/players/3866.jpg

Now, I am short of time but McGwire was 6'5" 220 his rookie year and 250 when he retired

Bonds looks 165 in that rookie picture, and now...well...look for yourself

Now I have no idea if Big Mac juiced, yes he took Andro and he has admitted it (something rare), but he also stopped using it in early 99 if Im not mistaken.

Bonds looks realllllly skinny is that pic for some reason

I mean he has def got A LOT bigger but that Rookie pic he looks EXTRA small for some reason...must be the angel or something

I thought he was on 'roids but now I dunno guys like Giambi have gotten smaller but somehow Bonds is still the same size so I dunno. Unless he has a way to beat hte system or something :-\

Yeah I found two other rookie pictures and he looks that skinny :-\

I dunno, just find it hard to take in that people accuse Big Mac of roiding it up when he was 220 when he broke in and Bonds and Sosa both look to be 160-180'ish pounders

That's the controversy, the untraceable roid "rumored" to be used by these guys... if it can't be picked up, it's beating the system...
