I've been touting the Miz for a while now. I think its quite obvious who the "Marty Jennety" is. While John Morrison has some great in ring skills, whenever he opens his mouth I cringe.

This is how I view it: John Morrison is the in ring talent; The Miz has the charisma and mic skills. He has managed to make himself a believable top midcard/main eventer talent. They never give Morrison anything to do. Taking Morrison off Smackdown during his recent run was dumb as he was more over and doing things. I don't find the Miz to be good in the ring like everyone else does, but he definitely has improved since his stupid rooster hair hoorah crap. Nobody liked him then. I didn't like him until April/May of this year and he is nowhere near a favorite of mine. I am more impressed with Sheamus right now as his ring skills have gotten better as well and he is high on my list.

Morrison is the most talented idiot next to Shelton Benjamin. Rob Van Dam as well when he left ECW (1/2 of the ECW World Tag Team Cha(RVD interrupts "3/4's of the Tag Team Champions!!!!! when he was with Sabu) so he gets a pass.

But the Miz reminds me wierd enough....of a young shawn micheals/ric flair/sensational sherry had a baby and fed him Martel's ArroGance in his milk kind of thing. He speaks with a prickish eloquence that nails the attitude of a lot of people. Especially when he dropped that stupid hat.

He will never compare to The Rock...ever.......ever. But you have to admit....he is tapping in to that same ability to connect with the crowd. They actually listen to him....the crowd is like quiet when he speaks. And they co-sign his catchphrase at the end. He is there but he will never be any greater then he is now. Although part of his promo I must admit reminded of an old Rock segment but to me Miz will always be that great pesky heel and will never be a face like the Rock was. Besides his physique isn't even close if anything he's more like a modern Chris Jericho if you ask me but not even close to being as technically sound. For me i'd have to say that he's done a very good job of filling the void that Ken Anderson left behind and luckily doesn't get injured thus losing no momentum.

Miz stole half of that promo from The Rock. He told the crowd not to chant his catch phrase. We all know who started that. Miz is a wrestling fan from way back so he knows how to connect with the fans. If your such a fan that you create a persona(like Mike Mizanin did) then your gonna know a little about what the people wanna see. I still like Morrison over Miz. The WWE used to too. WTF happened?

God, I fucking love The Miz.
I've been out of touch with WWE for a few years now, but i've recently got back into it because of guys like The Miz. I actually watch Raw now too see The Miz.
I don't think we've ever seen a superstar transform so much in such a short period of time. He's gone from being an annoying little bastard, to the next big "The Rock-esque" heel.
While I don't think he will be the next Rock, he can certainly emulate him somewhat. He'll be the guy that the IWC love to hate, because, he really is that awesome. He'll most likely go onto win the title, and the fans will go to love him, and we have our next big face.
