Besides the fact that they use it to relieve pain from day to day bumps etc, I can understand how they become addictive. Painkillers such as oxycotin is a simply a synthetic version of heroin. Apparantly oxy's are even more addictive than heroin.

Once you stop, the withdrawals are pretty bad. Mentally, doing normal day to day things (paying bills, chores, errands) seem to be difficult once you stop and you tend to have a lack of interest even in things you had interest in.

Physically, once you stop, you get cold sweat and fever like symptoms. You are always tired (because it lowers testosterone) and even when you try to go to sleep, you can't because you just finished sleeping 15 hours, and you're still tired but your mind is awake. It's fucking hard to find that sweet spot to go to sleep. And when you do doze off, it's only for like 30 minutes, then you're up again. Brutal. The only way to get through this is through the '3 days of hell' or keep popping pills. It's the type of shit your body needs everyday.

Share some stories in relation to wrestling. Haven't paid attetion to any wrestling news lately, but isn't this why Carlito got released? I heard

Interesting read Naitch. Seems like a never ending cycle of abuse.
