Talk about events that were built up so well, and looked good on paper, but when it came to the execution of the event itself it failed.

Wrestlemania 26.

Bret Hart vs. Vince should have been so much better and more intense.

Cena vs. Batista was so so

Edge vs. Jericho was ok, but nobody cared about the match really.

Wasn't the greatest MITB match by any stretch

Triple H should have done the job for Sheamus, mediocre match.

Undertaker vs. HBK 2 came no where near what they did in Houston at WM 25.

..... A Heavily promoted PPV that looked excellent on paper, but did not deliver at all. Definitely not worth $55 on PPV

Besides Taker vs HBK my favorite match was Orton vs Priceless :/

Hell in a Cell 2009 comes to mind.

I felt that the booking of the show was pretty poor, in particular, the card order. It made sense for them to split the 3 HIACs up, (opener, staple, closer), but I felt the card was placed backwards, and it hurt the show big time.

The match quality I felt was fun to watch, but it was definitely toned down due to the PG era. I'm a firm believer in "it doesn't need to be TV-14 to be good", but I feel that the HIAC PPV is the only show during the year that suffers from the PG rating. If this card was booked in the Attitude era, it would have been more memorable IMO.

For a reminder, here were the matches from start to finish:

1) WHC HIAC: CM Punk (c) vs. Undertaker
2) Intercontinental: Morrison (c) vs. Ziggler
3) Divas: Mickie (c) vs. Alicia
4) Tag Titles: JeriShow (c) vs. Batista & Rey
5) WWE HIAC: Cena (c) vs. Orton
6) Drew McIntyre vs. R-Truth
7) US Title: Kofi (c) vs. Swagger vs. Miz
8) Tag HIAC: Legacy vs. DX

It almost felt to me that the card was backwards, and I know people may say that "Taker wasn't healthy enough to main event since the match was only 10 minutes", but it was a fast-paced 10 minutes with a huge reaction at the end that would have been a better close to the show, instead of the 2 on 1 match that DX vs. Legacy was with the "locked outside the cell" story.

I felt the card should have went:

1) HIAC: DX vs. Legacy
2) R-Truth vs. Drew McIntyre
3) Tag Titles: JeriShow vs. Batista & Rey
4) US Title: Kofi (c) vs. Miz vs. Swagger
5) WWE HIAC: Cena (c) vs. Orton
6) Divas: Mickie (c) vs. Alicia
7) Intercontinental: Morrison (c) vs. Ziggler
8) HIAC WHC: Punk (c) vs. Undertaker

That's just me nit-picking, but yeah. lol

Felt that both the rating and card order hurt this show that looked fantastic on paper.

WrestleMania 2000.

The card was absolutely packed with basically everyone on the working roster at the time, and even though there was a total of ONE singles match (which was a bra and panties match ffs), a lot of the tags looked promising. TLC 2 was on the card (which delivered), Angle/Benoit/Jericho and a packed main event.

Possibly the worst WrestleMania I've ever watched live. Honestly, the best part of the show as the WrestleMania All-Day-Long special that aired before the show.

Wrestlemania 25 and 26 are the first to things that spring to mind. I'm still pissed that they didn't run In Crowd/Colons on the actual show at 25.

Ha, just got on a roll I guess, especially since I've thought about this before because I went to the show.
