More boss infected, to add some variety. I'll be disappointed if we only get the Witch and Tank again.

I need to play the 2nd one first but I would love to see a minigun.

There is a level that ends with a mounted turrett
Right, but you can't take it with you and rock the house a la Heavy

I wouldn't mind anything that gives the survivors a little more thinking to do. Such as each character having some basic unique skills.
It'd be pretty cool if someone could "become the horde". Basically give them x amount of time, maybe at the start of the session, to lay out a custom trigger that would create a horde. Like opening/destroying a door or something.

Create a character, both infected and survivor

This. A thousand times, this. It is supposed to be a team game. Adding this feature would add so much more strategy and teamwork to the mix.
You could have certain situations that call for one of the characters skills, and the other players need to protect them.
Being able to play as the director would be cool. Obviously there would need to be limitations, but it could be done.

They wouldn't even have to be essential skills, so we could avoid the problem of continuing the game if someone dies.
Let's say one of the characters is a computer expert, and one event requires hacking into a computer. It might take this character 5 seconds, but another character 30.

Yeah, that's true. Either way, they really need to do something like this, totruly enhance the gameplay. Was kind of dissapointed with LFD2, as it just didn't feel like a true sequel at all.

Create a survivor would be epic badass if you had a group of 3+ friends doing the same.

My mate's trying to get me into this. He's borrowed me L4D and I downloaded the L4D2 demo. I kinda want to see random people running around for supplies being attacked or something and if you help them they join your clan for a few moments until they die in the next horde attack or something. I dunno could be already in the exisiting games somewhere.
