Want to have a head's up for anything I should DVR.

I have my standbys, including:

House - Going to need to Netflix last season first, but will be DVRing it
South Park
Family Guy
Simpsons
American Dad

And that's pretty much it as far as seasonal content goes for me. So any suggestions would be great, especially shows making their debuts.

yeah I dont think that new Michael Chiklis show will last long. From the previews for it just seems rather generic but I will give it a shot.

I hate drama, especially romantic drama but besides the usual comedy cartoons I'll be watching Smallville. I checked out some of season 9 and besides some cheese it's cool with all the characters from DC and shit, now with the finale he might wear his blue and red so that'll be pretty cool.

I'll probably catch at least the opener of No Ordinary Family and The Cape, just for the fact that they have super-powers.

Though, I think The Cape starts later than September. Maybe mid-season start.

Walking Dead starts in October as well, probably check that out too.

Know what was shit? That Avengers cartoon from back in the day. It didn't even have Captain America, Iron Man, Thor or Hulk. Vision and Hawkeye were the leaders.

Fucking shit

One of the pre-trailer trailers for Machette last night was for NBC's the Event, and Ive got to say seeing it actually got my interest but the 10pm monday timeslot is going to kill it just like the other show I was interested in that NBC stuck there (Journeyman).

Its done by the people who did 24 which shows in the fact they've got a black president but he's no President Palmer. Also this:

Born to Cuban refugees in the U.S., he is very proud of his African roots. He was part of the first bi-partisan ticket into the White House.

NBC just wants to stir some shit up don't they.

Looks kinda "eh", but I'll give it a try just because it is Gob and Mitch Hurwitz.

The Event - not a fan right now but it might grow on me. I was really annoyed by the "watch this happen and then lets have a flashback and show the same thing again in a slightly different perspective with more details" thing. I can take that once, but 4 or 5 times in a one hour show just screams "we're padding this show cause we don't have any ideas". Plus, why the fuck was there a hurricane blowing through when the Plane was going to crash?

The Chase - I enjoyed it, and am looking forward to seeing T-Bag from Prison Break reek havoc on Houston in some upcoming episode.

and thats all Ive watched so far

Dont bother with Lonestar, the ratings were terrible and its likely to be canceled.

Just caught a couple minutes of defenders..bleh..but it just struck me that Jim Belushi looks about 85% like Paul Heyman.

I liked Running Wilde. It seemed to be a good start of a show from the two genius directors from Arrested Development and Better Off Ted.

And come on, they mentioned Will Arnett making a huge mistake!

I'm interested in Boardwalk Empire and The Walking Dead.

Other than that I have little to no interest in any new shows, and very few returning ones.

Boardwalk was great I thought. The Event and Undercovers were eh....I'll give them a few more episodes to win me over.
