right,
We know that he can't take much offense so why the fuck book him so regularly only to pull a Lucy on the expectant viewers?
Also what is with this absolutely no offense shit? Lets looks at something they could do with Hart:
Undertaker could have shoved him into the corner and then given him those "light as air" fast punches to the chest and gut.
Hell he could even cover up for a few supposed shots to the head. Taker is extremely experienced and wouldn't take liberties with Hart anyway.
He could slink down in the corner and take a few kicks to the gut. Bret could take a figure four.
There is a lot they could do with Bret if they were slightly creative or was it Lloyds of London who said "We'll let him get in the ring but he can't even take a pinky lock!"
Your thoughts... ( and go beyond he shouldn't be in the ring cus he is obviously going to be in more matches)
When did the Undertaker start doing the Figure Four?

I have seen taker apply the figure four as well as a small package roll up. In fact he may have done both on Bret Hart (Royal Rumble 96) I think.
Taker used to pull out a few moves against submission experts like Bret.

I think it all related to Bret's insurance policy. He's collecting because apparently he's unable to perform so if he were to go in and take fake punches or even get shoved in the corner (minor bump) it would seem to nullify the policy.
We talk about Hogan and Flair ruining their legacies, but Bret might have them beat. Him constantly having to be saved or spared by the GM or whatever else is ridiculous. Seeing the Hitman grey streaks and "wrestling" in jorts and a t- shirt is a pathetic site. Just make him an ambassador or something and keep him out of the ring.

Yeah, every time he's put on the card it's glaringly obvious a swerve is coming. It's completely stupid to do at this point, and it keeps happening.

I actually like it, its like a guessing game on to how he will get out of wrestling that night.

I love Bret and all, but the novelty of seeing him in a ring is really wearing off. The fans feel the same way...when the Bret Hart/Taker match was announced at Raw, the crowd was relatively meh on the idea.
Him as the GM in his short stint was the best idea they had for him...make him a mouthpiece and keep him storyline relevant, but give him a reason to stay out of the ring.

Bret doesn't make me say "Holy Shit it's Bret!" anymore.

I still get really happy when I see on Bret on TV. I agree that it's no longer "omg, Bret's back" but there's still a little kid in me that gets really excited when he's on.
He's getting better on the mic, or at least last night he wasn't so bad. I really want him on television, so I wish he could've remained as the GM for a while... He'd be useless as a manager for the Hart Dynasty since they themselves are useless at this point (unless actual tag teams start competing against them) and besides they have Natalia.
So, I don't know. I don't know what Bret should be doing, but I do want him on television still.

Demote Bret to ring announcer.
Only thing I didn't like was Mania, it went too long and they didn't protect him enough. He looked great at SummerSlam considering and anybody outside of the internet/'sheets' would probably have no clue he can't really bump etc. I'm still just happy to see him, he's hardly gonna be around forever. If he was stinking up the place with 15 minute saggy boob matches and being presented as a legit threat then I could understand the moaning but he's not. I bet Heath Slater was fucking wetting himself being able to sell for Bret at SummerSlam.

A lot of us still mark out for Bret but he can't have his bread buttered on both sides; either stick with the insurance and out of in ring action or tell the insurance to go fuck themselves and take the glory and ego boost of being in the ring again.
Bret can do more than he is allowed to do at present. He proved he can go even if its just a 10 minute match with a 3 minute rest hold. The offense should be focused on his mid section and legs. He can't do a "side russian leg sweep" any more but he can replace it with a "bulldog".
What about mat wrestling? a 1/3 of his Iron man match was mat wrestling Shawn Michaels where he is basically lying down.

I'm not much of a Bret fan anyways, but I acted the same way the crowd did last night. If the match did happen, it was going to be one of the slowest ones in history.

He's Randy "The Ram" now. I wish he would have stopped after WM. Sometimes you gotta know when to fold the cards and walk away.
