.....in terms of accolades?
Titles, King Of The Ring and Royal Rumble wins, stuff like that, who has the most altogether?
I think it may be Edge.

Because 8 of those titles were won in one match. So yes he was walking around with 10 belts, but only really recognized to having 4 belts at the same time. J-Crown (the 8 unified titles), NWA Middleweight, WCW Cruiserweight and WAR World Six-Man Tag Team Championship.
Either way, it does not add up to 140 Championships.

Probably Edge.
Booker T has won shit loads of titles, and KOTR, but never a Royal Rumble, or headlined Wrestlemania.
And to be honest, those KOTR's that happened on Raw and Smackdown didn't really feel legit to me. The Pay-Per-View KOTR is the one that mattered. The last two were just lame tournaments.

Flair has won the more meaningful.

Whatever meaningful means in a pre-determined sport. So yeah, Lawler 140+ Championships, still remains on top!

Angle, Trips's title reigns don't count, at least not all of them. HHH should have about 7-9 maybe 10 reigns.

Flair's closest friends were the bookers during most of his runs too though.

In terms of people who didn't politic/book themselves/best buddies with the booker, then Edge must be at the top somewhere, unless there's something we don't know about.

Speaking in terms of the "big two," let's put Edge up against Ric Flair.
RIC FLAIR:
- WCW/NWA World Heavyweight Title (14x)
- WWE Title (2x)
- US Title
- IC Title
- World Tag Team Titles (3x)
- Royal Rumble Winner 1992
- 13th Triple Crown Champion
EDGE:
- World Title (5x)
- WWE Title (4x)
- IC Title (5x)
- US Title (1x)
- World Tag Titles (12x)
- WWE Tag Titles (2x)
- King of the Ring 2001
- Money in the Bank Winner (Won once, cashed in twice)
- 14th Triple Crown Champion
- Royal Rumble Winner 2010
In my opinion, based purely on accolades, Edge might be ahead of Flair at this point in his career.
Well, I raise you:
World Heavyweight Championship (5 times)
WWF/E Championship (8 times)
WWF European Championship (2 times)
WWF/E Intercontinental Championship (5 times)
WWF/E World Tag Team Championship (2 times) – with Steve Austin (1), and Shawn Michaels (1)
WWE Tag Team Championship (1 time) – with Shawn Michaels
King of the Ring (1997)
Royal Rumble (2002)
Second Grand Slam Championship
Slammy Award for Best Hair (1997)
Seventh Triple Crown Champion
