I'll give him an 8. His promos are great, he is extremely over, decent ring work. He just needs to ditch the superman deal though.

1. In his early work (2000-2002), he was good and had a great moveset. As the years went by, he limited his ability really bad.

I'll give him an honest 6. I'm not a huge fan of the guy, but the problem isn't with Cena, it's with the WWE.

The guy is one hell of an athlete, great showman and from everything I've heard, one hell of a great company guy.

7..... IMO, the guy is very limited in his ring ability, much like Hogan was..... other than his strength, he doesn't have much going for him.....

6, great promos man, mega over, better ring ability than Hulk Hogan, annoying catchy entrance music, loved his rapper gimmick until he went all Marine.

4. Don't enjoy watching him at all but he's not actually the worst wrestler in the world. Absolutely hate the superman gimmick but I didn't like him when he was a rapper either, thumbs down for me.

7, because hes carried this 'era' pretty well, and has had some great matches when needed. Shitty promo guy tho.

Have to give him an 8 but not based on anything post his 2nd title reign anything after that I couldn't give any more than a 7 at best probably the worst progression of a main eventer.

10's? Really? JOHN CENA gets a ten? I thought that was reserved for guys like HBK,Flair,Austin etc. He used to be a 7. He's dropped to a high 3 over the last five years. The only reason most of his feuds worked was because of the other performer. HHH,HBK,Umaga,Orton,Edge and more. His in ring style is boring and dated. I honestly believe he is the worst "Top Guy" since Scott Steiner in WCW near it's death.

This guy is ruining wrestling.

He's vastly underrated in the ring. Yes, his matches tend to be extremely formulaic, and he tends to undersell everything, but that's how he's been booked. He's had some good matches, both pre- and post-WWE title.

He's right to be in the position he is. I don't like the gimmick or his current in-ring style, but he's perfect for this era. Cena isn't the one who's promoting this cartoonish, super hero style, Vince is. Cena just happens to be at the top of the food chain and that's why he's the biggest target. I could name things that have nothing to do with Cena that I don't like, but it's attributed to the era, not their in-ring ability.

Overall, he's a good 7. He'll never be Austin or Hogan, but for what he does in the environment he's working in and for the demographic the WWE is going for, he's good and he gets the job done.

Cena is a little kiss-ass.

I would say in all honesty that no one deserves a 10. Because there is no perfect wrestler. Giving someone a 10 would indicate that they are exactly perfect. A 10 is what everyone strives for, but should never be able to fully attain. It's like traveling at the speed of light, you can move infinitely towards it but never reach it.

Even perfection has its flaws.

Not a Cena fan, but I gotta give it up for his mic skills (not my taste though), entertainer for the kids as a major face (very Hoganesque..) and the best "Company Man" ever in the WWE... Gave him a 7 for carrying the brand as well and as long as he has...

Still needs a heel turn to be ranked among the Wrastlin' Gods like Flair, HHH, HBK, Jericho, Guerero, etc...

I was generous with a 6

I voted with a number one, but in all honesty he really is number two.

His moveset is limited, obviously, and he has never denied that. However, I don't think any "smart" fan could deny that he works his ass off and gives 150 percent to the fans, and IMO that more than makes up for it.

He's good on the stick, has undeniable charisma, gets the crowd emotionally invested in his matches (maybe more so than anyone else does), and has terrific timing on everything he does in the ring.

He also shatters merchandise sales, is the cash cow around which the whole company is partially built, and is one of the biggest attractions the business has ever seen, rating right behind Hogan, Stone Cold, and The Rock, in that order. I think these are all good reasons to respect him, even if you don't like his gimmick or whatever, and really I don't understand why people hate on him. I gave him a 9.

I'll give him a very honest 7. ALTHOUGH, in spite of everything I will say I want to give him an 8 because I respect everything he does and how much he puts in.

I give him a 6, he is a great entertainer, but over the past few years he has gotten a smaller moveset. However the younger fans most of the time do not remember many moves, they just remember the big moves and thats it. So Cena is just doing what he does best most of the time and that is entertain.
