Old stables that they own the rights to? I'm mainly talking about the 4 Horsemen but you could include the NWO or even DX now that Shawn has retired.. It seems like some of the young guys or top mid carders may get a rub from the name recognition and you do have people like Arn Anderson and HHH who could sort of re-introduce it on screen before letting the young guys take over.

I don't think bringing back old stables will help, but I do think one of the keys to what made things so exciting ten years ago was that there were a lot of stables, all running into each other.

These days there's usually only ever one stable at a time, and it's a heel one. Evolution, The Spirit Squad, Legacy, and now Nexus on Raw and SES on Smackdown.

I actually did a Q&A thread a while back asking who was the last face stable. I think we do need more than one stable, as it gives a lot of people who aren't used often a chance to do something.

But old stables? The Horsemen? NWO? DX? No. Their time has come and gone, and bringing back old stables only shits on their legacy.

For me, stables work when there's other stables to fight against or they're not so big to walk over everything. Of course this changes if they just wanna wreak havoc and party (dX) or go megalomaniac (Corporate Ministry / Corporation).

The days of dX vs Ministry vs Corportaion vs Nation of Domination vs Los Boricuas vs Disciples of Apocalypse were good tings.

I'd like to see, if not stables, more wrestlers associated with each other. I'd rather have more tag teams though.

The Hart Foundation are on Raw too.

I see the Hart DYNASTY as a tag team with a manager.

Bring back The Union

Test is dead....can't do it.

but i agree more stables would be great. i still say with all the international flavor, you can do something with it...and the hart dynasty is not a stable. bring back the brood entrance!

I think that one consequence of a reunited roster would be an environment that would foster more stable creation. With so many midcarders running around, it would be much easier to get more people screen time if they were coming out as one cohesive unit, with one cohesive purpose.

That's not to say I want unification, but stables would be a fun byproduct.

Given her relationships with a lot of the characters on SmackDown!, I wouldn't mind seeing Vickie Guerrero put a stable together. Dolph Ziggler would be the centrepiece, and off to the sides you can have Curt Hawkins & Vance Archer (Vickie and Hawkins have history in La Familia, and Vickie was apparently the one who signed them to full-time contracts), LayCool and even Chavo Guerrero (who can eventually turn face on the group).

Christian & Matt Hardy have a nice little relationship going on SmackDown!, and Hardy and MVP are former partners/rivals. Given that they've established that MVP & JTG are friends, you could put those four together as a sort of alliance (if not a stable with a name and matching attire). You could put them into a team to feud against some of the heels on SmackDown! in time for Survivor Series (Jack Swagger, Alberto Del Rio, Drew McIntyre & Cody Rhodes).
