So while watching Smackdown last night, it occurs to me that Kane might be the most versitile and reliable performer in the WWE. THe guy has really done it all, and I really can't remember him being out with injuries like so many other guys have been (HHH & Taker to name a two).
Kane is so good you can buy him as a Monster or as a victim, as a Face or a Heel, as a Jobber, he works great matches to enhance the mid-card, and as Heavyweight Champ - he can carry a show.
Anyone else like to chime in.

Y'know for ages I've been saying how I don't care about Kane, not because of the man himself, but because of how WWE has booked him and fucked up his entire continuity, but since winning the title I've really enjoyed watching him, and he's done a really great match in the ring and on the mic.
Sadly, after jobbing to Undertaker he'll go back to midcard jobbinig.

He's sat out with a few injuries, but only a small handful of times and never more than a couple months at a time. He's been extremely reliable over the years, nobody in the business ever seems to have a bad word to say about him, and even when he isn't used well he's always entertaining to watch.

Kane has come a long way. I like the way he was able to come back from character suicide with some of the ideas WWE laid on him.

Only great performers can get through dumb gimmicks.

Kane is really great. From what I have heard too, not wrestling related, is that he has invested his money properly so when he does retire he'll be sitting on a good nest egg, unlike so many other performers who piss it all away on stupid shit.
I've always enjoyed watching Kane perform though. Like many have said he is versatile, and extremely reliable. Seems to be a company man too.

Did you like the way they handled Kane's unmasking?
Also....

Kane's mic work has been pretty sterling lately as well. I never really minded him on the stick, but lately he's been really impressing me. His promo where he "told the story" of he and the Undertaker's history was pretty boss.
