Some of you may have heard it before. It was on my solo myspace and some of you said you liked it so I re-did it with my band and recorded a quick demo.

Please let me know what you think.

Is this another one of those "I know it's shitty, lol" tracks?

Or is it actually worth listening to and criticquing for once?

I tried my hardest to mix it as well as I could.

Drums are still computerized, we will be working on that this week though.

I closed the media player window in a minute or so after the vocals started.

It's too bad mixing can't make your singer on key, innit?

Yeah, yeah, I know, "lol i dont care" but seriously, did you audition at a school for the deaf or something?

Also, are you laying down the drum track after other things? Because it sounds like your singer doesn't know where he is and the guitar is sometimes very slightly off the beat. It shouldn't be an issue of mixing to stay on key or in time.

Yeah those were the two things that jumped out at me too.

Also, when singing try enunciating. Just a little.

Yeah I don't have an mbox or anything so I record through a mixer going through my soundcard so there is a slight delay in the guitar on the drums

I try to eye it out to correct it but it is hard sometimes

When we record the drums I think we are going to use my drummers mbox so we will re-record the guitars and hopefully it will sound better

What did you think of my vocals in the song? Like you can tell where I'm singing and the other guy is right...

If you check his posts and respond to them, what is the point of blocking him? Especially in a thread about your band, where he is most likely to make fun of you.

The vocals were horrid. I hate that genre of music anyways, but I still know good music from bad.
