Its offical
WWE headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut is undergoing a slight renovation as an office is being built for Paul “Triple H” Levesque, who was recently promoted to an executive role within the organization.
According to a company source, the multi-time wrestling champion now officially serves as WWE Chairman Vince McMahon’s creative advisor.
While Triple H has had Vince’s ear for the past several years, it was always in an unofficial capacity. From this point forward, he will have a much more authoritative voice in regards to the company’s creative direction and its many performers.

...Wow, Triple H. The last one to join "The Kliq"...and ends up as a WWE Executive, with an office at WWE Headquarters...married into the McMahon Family...and pretty much secured a spot as a future WWE owner.
The other members of The Kliq are all out of WWE.

This could be great news...or on the flip side...the only wrestlers that will benefit are the ones on HHH's good side.
It'll be interesting to see how things change.
Accomplished. I'll back down.
He also had gotten temporarily banned for the very reason, so don't let him bully you. But in this case, I have to say that autoplay is a good one. It's a soft song, and fitting for this.

The post says that Triple H has been acting as Creative Advisor for a while now, only that now it'll be official, so...I personally don't think much will change.

Fuck all that shit about him marrying into the family. That doesn't have a damn thing to do with the fact that as a heel, he's one of the greatest of all time. The fans don't pop for him when he's a face because he's banging Steph and they don't buy his merchandise because he's McMahon's son in law.
Hell, if you really think about it, HHH was probably the most likely to end up in the front office. He wasn't getting pilled out like the rest of them. Hall and Waltman are fuck ups. Nash proved in WCW that he isn't suited for anything in booking or talent relations, and Shawn lost his smile, found it, lost his hairline, found Jesus, and is now happy twittering like a 14 year old black girl.
He should book himself to win all the championships, including Diva's.

i think i'm the only person who doesn't like triple h as a heel. i like him in DX, but that's about it. i don't know, maybe this time around the landscape will be different and if/when he comes back as a heel it'll be better.
as far as him being more involved with creative, i think only good things could come out of it. obviously he's not going to have full control everything and i don't think he's going to routinely suggest situations where he can become the champion. i think he's got years of experience as a wrestler and has a better understanding of today's climate than any of the writers currently on board. i just hope he can salvage the nexus angle (lol).

I'm sure Shane could have been the heir to the company but he wanted to go out and make a name for himself. Maybe someday he'll be back, but I don't think his decision to leave was because of HHH and I'm sure Vince would've rather given the company to Shane than to (presumably, eventually) give the company to Stephanie and HHH (at least from the onset).

well this definitely rules out the 0.000000000000001% chance of HHH jumping ship to TNA.
Since I am from the area where Triple H grew up, I know a few people who are connected to the Levesque family. And from what I have heard, Triple H is not a fan of the PG era at all.

Shawn Michaels - DX & made Stone Cold a star
Triple H - DX and led the WWF when Austin/Taker were gone and eventually when Rock went Hollywood.
Kevin Nash - nWo
Scott Hall - nWo
X-Pac- Made Shane McMahon a star
Justin Credible - everybody has that "one friend" you are nice to because he is slightly retarded.
I imagine this will have little to no effect on WWE programming for many years to come.

1. Austin made Austin a star. Right place, right time, right gimmick, right adversary in Vince McMahon. That and some of the WCW audience was already starting to get a tad bit bored with what was on Nitro.
2. The guy has ridden so many coattails, it's not even funny. Not to mention the time he was on top was during some of the worst programming the WWE had seen since 1995.
3. Yes, see but the nWo came in after a time when business was already turning around for WCW. And how old did that get?
4. See above and add in the fact that Hall was essentially gone sometime after 1999.
5. You're kidding me with this one, right? You're praising the fact that SHANE MCMAHON became a star?
6. Maybe he'll introduce an Attitude Era to Olive Garden.
Anywho, to put the rise of the Attitude on the shoulders of just one thing is kind of ridiculous. Everything from Nitro's rise, to the nWo, to Austin's anti-hero character, Bret being screwed, McMahon borrowing some of ECW's ideas, the Corporation, and just flat-out being just the right time were all components. And, once again, the Attitude Era was not all sugar and rainbows.
