From PWInsider:

WrestleReunion, which will hold its fifth gathering this January in Los Angeles, announced yesterday that former NWA and ECW World champion Terry Funk would return to the ring as part of a Legends Battle Royal being held at the event. It will be the first official "match" for Funk in some time.

The Legends Battle Royal will be part of a Pro Wrestling Guerrilla card promoted in conjunction with the convention. Ring of Honor will also be presenting a live card as part of the weekend.

Stars announced thus far for the gathering are Funk, Ken Patera, a reunion of Mr. Fuji and Mr. Saito (making his first ever convention appearance), Mike Graham, Paul Orndorff, Tito Santana, Bob Orton, Traci Brooks, TNA Knockout SoCal Val and Alicia Webb (WWF's Rian Shamrock). More names will be announced shortly.

The WrestleReunion event will be held the weekend of 1/27/11-1/30/11 at the the Hilton LAX. The gathering is offering VIP autograph passes for $99 and VIP photo passes for $99 as well. For both, there is a discounted price of $149. However, the cut-off for the photo VIPs is 9/15 as there will be a strict cutoff in order to accommodate all fans purchasing the VIP tickets.

Last year's gathering featured Japanese legends Jushin "Thunder" Liger and The Great Muta in action as well as a rare independent wrestling appearance by Rob Van Dam, among other stars. DVDs of those events can be found at www.highspots.com.

To be fair, Funk hasn't wrestled since January 4, 2010, at NJPW's Tokyo Dome show, where he participated in an eight-man tag with Masahiro Chono, Riki Choshu, and Manabu Nakanishi as his partners.

Yes, THEY will consist of Abdullah the Butcher, Terry Funk, and George "The Animal" Steele. This would be a dominate team... back in 1984
