Todd DUffee has been Fucking cut from the Fucking Roster. He asked for some time off to heal some nagging injuries, instead of wanting to get back into the octagon, fucking pussy. I mean you look like an action figure and you get knocked the fuck out by some fat can named Russow. You're fucking outta here, Blah, blah Futuer Endeavors...fuckface

Totally agree...but the operative word should be IF. I wish the kid all the best. Seems like SHINE is fucking doing pretty well. He'd do well to stay the fuck away from Strikeforce, he'd get gang raped over there.

Sad thing is he was probably broke and did need the money. Dana white should go fuck himself. I hope he strokes out one day in the middle of a rant at a UFC press conference.

yeah it is pretty crazy how little some people get, to say they're on ppv's with some huge names. i'm not sure how much professional fighters pay to train either but i'm sure it adds up.

And when you think about it, Rashad and Rampage both got nothing in terms of how many PPVs that fight sold, it did something like 1 millions buys which is like triple the average.

Duffe has only fought like 5 fights...he has to earn a name, right? Like Evans, and everyone else got shit paydays at first didn't they? If he fought more than once or twice a year, then wouldn't he earn more? He also gets money for sponsors, Duffe is in every goddam magazine I read. Just saying...Dana also always says that the salary isn't all the guys get paid. That's just the MINIMUM he has to report to the commission.

And that's what Dana would like us to believe, yet we really only have his word to go on, versus dozens of disgruntled employees and former employees. Why doesn't he just make it publicly known? It could be because he doesn't want 'fighter A' knowing what 'fighter B' makes, and that way he can keep salaries low. It's happened in every major sport, which is why every league now has a union.
Could you imagine when the NFL and NFLPA sit down to negotiate a new deal at the end of this season, the owners bringing up sponsors when talking about players salaries? It wouldn't happen because it would be ridiculous, and it has nothing to do with the players as employees.
So while it may be the minimum, one would think with everyone slamming UFC over its low salaries and pay days, and fighters constantly bitching about money, Dana would just release the numbers, but for whatever reason he doesn't.
The trend of fighters complaining is only going to grow, Carwin was bitching before his title fight, and rightfully so, he headlined one of the biggest cards in company history, and made all of 48,000 dollars for his work, on a PPV that did over a million buys.

I heard (from MMA Connected on Rogers Sportsnet) the real problem was that UFC brass didn't like his attitude

Dana said that in an interview to Ariel, that it was his attitude. He said that he wonders where Duffe's motivation is right now. It will be interesting to see what's really crack a lacking.
Also Mir to Strikeforce? I don't think dana would cut him for that ONE reason.

The guy fought twice in the UFC making $18, 000 in total and he pulled out of four different fights while there.

True Story of awesomeness:
Matt Mitrione, in one of the coolest, and cruelest moves in UFC history fired his promotions guy during his post fight interview. Then on Ariel Helwani's site, he broke the whole situation down. I don't have time to embed, look it up. Funny shit
