How many Lethal Lockdowns have they did this year?

Don't forget "They" are coming.

It's not that bad, but they need to add more matches. Maybe Lethal vs Williams in a ladder match for the X division title.

BizarroKing

It's not a TERRIBLE card, especially since this is TNA we're talking about. Still, it does leave something to be desired.

Also, WHY is RVD back already?

Also, WHY is RVD back already?

I haven't read the actual show spoilers but it's a simple story...

RVD gets healthy enough to get out of his hospital bed...

RVD isn't cleared to wrestle...

Hogan, Bischoff & Dixie tell RVD that they won't let him wrestle...

RVD refuses to listen to Hogan, Bischoff & Dixie and attacks Abyss anyway...

RVD demands a match a match at Boud for Glory...

Hogan, Bischoff & Dixie don't want to grant RVD the match but the realize that RVD isn't going to change his mind so they make it an unsanctioned match...

RVD for some reason beats Abyss despite the fact that RVD is supposed to be "held together by stitches and staples"

"They" show up and beat down RVD...

Internet complains of a let down...

A thread starts here on TPWW about how retarded TNA is...

People who like TNA come on here and talk as if TNA is the greatest wrestling of all time....

They're called retarded...

The TNA fans says something like "don't take this so serious douche bag"

Random TPWW "veteran" post some sort of face palm picture or "fail" picture basically pretending as if they're some how better than the TNA fan because they think TNA is stupid...

Random TNA fan gets pissed and spams the board...

Random TNA fan gets banned...

Dixie Carter tweets about a "big surprise"

The whole cycle starts again...

Angle, Anderson, and Hardy should be entertaining. I'm looking forward to that.

I'm intrigued by the RVD and Abyss match only because I want to know who "They" ends up being and whether I'll only be mildly disappointed or supremely disappointed. Otherwise it's almost a guarantee that RVD takes it.

I'm excited for the build up to the Nash, Pope, Sting vs. Joe, Jarrett, Hogan match. Pope as a Heel + Kevin Nash on the mic could be some entertaining shit. Unfortunately, the match itself will also be shit.

Motor City vs. Generation Me is getting kind of played out. They had a great match on t.v. and a great match on PPV. Do we really need to see it again? Maybe TNA should drop the fat sacks of shit that comprise EV 2.0 and invest in their tag divison so we don't see the same 3 in Beer Money, Motor City, and Generation Me for the next 9 months.

Shouldn't Dreamer and the EV 2.0 guys be done at this point? Dreamer lost an "I Quit" match to A.J., Rhino (who I'm a fan of) lost to Abyss trying to avenge RVD, and Sabu lost to Doug Williams. So now you're going to put them all together so they can lose collectively? Waste.

The Pope
09-12-2010, 10:44 AM
EV2 is losing because they don't have Kahonies. nevermind they are just fat and old.

Mr. Nerfect

It's actually not a horrible card. It doesn't have anything that makes me feel like I need to fork out money to see it, though. But some of the matches might be YouTubeable, and the developments could be...interesting.

Pope being aligned with Sting & Nash could suck the big one, but maybe it will be good for The Pope? I mean, I'd much rather Nash & Sting use their "names" to put guys over by association than them running around doing their own thing. I mean, I'd rather not see it at all, but that's not really an option. How I would mark out if Pope gives Hogan 4-Upside the head and pins him. Or if he and Joe just say "Fuck this" and kill the old guys.

As the storyline goes on, I like the idea of EV2.0 vs. Fourtune more and more. Again, I'd rather see the old guys gone, but at least Brian Kendrick's in there. It also doesn't make sense to stop the story until Fourtune kill EV2.0 dead. AJ Styles, Frankie Kazarian, Matt Morgan, Beer Money & Douglas Williams vs. Tommy Dreamer, Rhino, Mick Foley, Stevie Richards, Brian Kendrick & Jay Lethal. There you go. At least Kendrick & Lethal can still go, and there's that history with Doug Williams to feed their interest in the match.

I hope to see Taylor Wilde & Hamada vs. The Beautiful People vs. Madison Rayne & Tara added to the card. That would be a pretty amazing women's match, to be honest. That's only six matches, but you can then give them proper time to build and tell a story. If you need another one, add Eric Young & Orlando Jordan vs. Ink, Inc. to the card. Eric Young deserves the PPV spot, and Shannon Moore can be quite fun.

The Pope

I think they will add another match in the future.

Awful card. Fucking shameful.

Fox
09-12-2010, 07:47 PM
Allow me to elaborate:

The 6-man tag is bullshit. Nobody wants to see Hogan, Jarrett, Nash or even Sting. These guys are NOT the future of the company, and should NOT be headlining the biggest TNA PPV of the year. If they're going to turn The Pope, why not just fucking book Samoa Joe versus The Pope in a 1-on-1 match and let them burn down the house for 20 minutes? I guarantee that not only would the match be 100x better than what we're "bound" to get, but it would put over both men simply by allowing them to showcase their skills against one another. Fucking retarded.

Also, Lethal Lockdown should be the main event of a PPV - but NOT when there is a tournament finals match for the World Title on the same card. It's a fucking mistake. Either they're going to put Letha Lockdown on before the main event, which will undoubtedly kill the crowd before the World Title match, or they'll make it the main event and it will overshadow both the World Title match and the skills of Angle, Hardy and Anderson - three guys who DESERVE the spotlight.

Grumble.

Mr. Nerfect
09-13-2010, 02:52 AM
I don't think Lethal Lockdown will overshadow the main event.

"Old blood VS..."Old blood"???? Wasn't this angle about how the older veterans needed to step aside?

* Rob Van Dam vs. Abyss- Grudge Match
So, I guess the vacated title should be given back to the guy who never lost it...

* For The TNA World Title: Kurt Angle vs. Ken Anderson vs. Jeff Hardy
If RVD doesn't show up in this after beating Abyss I'm calling foul.

Why does every TNA have this clusterfuck tag match full of oldies hogging the spotlight? I swear it's been the same match every month the last three years.

Only everyone is constantly swapping sides, it's impossible to tell who's friends with who anymore.

BFG is TNA's Wrestlemania right?
