Yeah was at the show tonight. Had detailed results but my phone ate them. I'll post what I remember and someone can update it when more detailed ones come out.
Dark match: Tyler Reks beat Trent Baretta. How long has Reks been without the goofy surfer gimmick? He looked alright.
Superstars: MVP beat Luke Gallows with the Playmaker.
NXT was pretty bad. Not gonna detail that as it's already been on. Jamie's joke was pretty funny though, and Kaitlyn is goddamned hot.
Smackdown (some of this may be out of order, but I think I got everything major)
-Show opened with the Peep Show. Guest was Alberto Del Rio. Christian basically called him a flash in the pan and challenged him for Night of Champions. Del Rio said if they did have a match he'd make Christian look like a peasant, but he'd consider it. Christian tagged him and they went nose to nose, but Del Rio left, and at the top of the ramp, said no to the match.
-Jack Swagger and Kofi Kingston had a very good match. It was fairly technical by WWE standards, and they gave them plenty of time. Crowd was pretty hot for it and Kofi got the win with I believe Trouble in Paradise.
-The Hart Dynasty also had a very good match with Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre. Cody got the pin with Crossrhodes.
-There was a horrible segment with Teddy Long trying to get a nun to teach Hornswoggle how to speak. Segment ended with Hornswoggle biting the nun and clapping erasers at her.
-Laycool beat Kelly and Rosa. Post match backstage, Laycool agreed to pick a name out of a hat to see which of them would face Melina at Night of Champions. Kaval picked Michelle's name. When Michelle left, Layla realized all the papers in the hat said Michelle. She was incensed.
-CM Punk beat Christian in a solid match. Del Rio did guest commentary, and after a while got up and grabbed a mic. Christian got distracted enough for Punk to hit Go 2 Sleep for the pin. Post match, Del Rio got in the ring, sat on a chair on Christian's throat, and again told him no match. Big Show came out to make the save. Del Rio took a powder and Punk ate a Knockout Punch.
-Kane came out to end the show. Cut a basic promo saying he'd destroy Taker, etc, etc.. He accepted the No Holds Barred stip for the match. As he was finishing, Taker's music played and he came out. They brawled all around and into the ring. Kane hit a chokeslam and Tombstone and left Taker lying to end the show.
-Kane vs. Taker in a dark main event. Taker made a comeback that ended with Kane out of the ring. Kane went up the aisle and teased coming back in, but was counted out.

Christian vs. Punk. Nice
Actually, it wasn't as good as I'd hoped. Like I said, it was solid. A match between these two would have to have a lot go wrong for it to be bad. But it was definitely a standard TV match. I'd class Kofi/Swagger above it, maybe even the Hart Dynasty match too.

Alberto Del Rio is going places.
He should be WHC Champion before WM27.

as usual the "bits" sound shitty but the actual matches all sound pretty great. Stoked for the tag match and Punk/Christian.

I was actually at the show as well. Punk/Christian definitely seemed like match of the night. Didn't think Tyler Reks was still around, but he has more of a beard now and new heel music. Some of the NXT stuff had to be retaped. For whatever reason the Kaitlyn/Dolph celebration was retaped. Will post some pics.

Sounds like another great show. Looking forward to Kofi vs. Swagger. It's a shame that Swagger loses, but Kofi has the issues for Night of Champions and is a rising star, whereas Swagger seems without direction.
I guess we'll see Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre challenge for the WWE Tag Team Championship. I actually hope they don't win the titles, though, despite being a huge fan of McIntyre, and being intrigued to seeing Cody Rhodes interact with guys on RAW again.
Christian's stuff sounds awesome, and even though he's just being used to put over Del Rio -- he's getting made to look like a pretty big deal in the process. I'm looking forward to that match with Punk, and the finish puts the right guy over, but protects Christian, as well.

Dunno about great, but some decent matches on the card. Christians gonna end up jobbing to del rio. :(

I'm okay with that. Del Rio is pretty great, and Christian is getting enough air-time as a face being built up for the match.

WWE taped this week's edition of SmackDown! tonight from the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan.
* The show opens with the Peep Show featuring Christian. Alberto Del Rio comes out and interrupts. Del Rio rants about the only thing Christian needs to know about him is what he did to Rey Mysterio. Christian says he has survived greats in WWE and challenged Del Rio to a match at Night of Champion. Del Rio declined then said he'll think about it before tapping Christian on the cheek. Christian spins Del Rio around and slaps him which sends him retreating. Del Rio screams "NO" at him on his way up the ramp.
* WWE Tag Team Champions The Hart Dynasty vs. "Dashing" Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre in a non-title match. Winners via Cody Rhodes hitting Cross Rhodes on David Hart Smith, "Dashing" Cody Rhodes & Drew McIntyre.
* Kofi Kingston comes out and cuts a promo on WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler. He says all Dolph does is hide behind Vickie Guerrero and calls her a "loud mouth, nasty, beast of a woman". Kofi is sure he'll win at Night of Champions on Sunday and will rid the WWE Universe of Vickie and Dolph.
* Kofi Kingston vs. Jack Swagger. Swagger was in control of the match for 80% of it. The crowd was actually chanting for Swagger through part of it. Kofi ends up hitting a spin kick to the head of Swagger and pins him to win the match.
* They continue to hype Kane vs. The Undertaker for the World Heavyweight Championship at Night of Champions on Sunday.
* Backstage, Teddy Long is with Hornswoggle and a nun (no, I'm not making this up). The nun is trying to teach Hornswoggle his ABC's as Hornswoggle plays a prank on Long, getting him in trouble.
* Kelly Kelly & Rosa Mendes w/Naomi vs. WWE Women's Champions LayCool w/Kaval. Winners via Layla pinning Rosa Medes, LayCool.
* CM Punk vs. Christian with Alberto Del Rio at ringside with announcers. Punk and Christian work with on another until they bump heads and both go down. They begin to stir when the referee gets to the count of nine. Del Rio interrupts the match but Punk counters and hits GTS. Punk leaves the ring but Del Rio follows. Big Show comes out and goes to the ring. When Punk gets back in, Show hits the knockout punch on him.
* World Heavyweight Champion Kane comes out and cuts a promo on The Undertaker. He says their rivalry will end on Sunday at Night of Champions. Kane says no holds barred is exactly what he wanted. The Undertaker's music hits and he comes out. The lights go out and when they come back up Kane is behind Undertaker at the top of the ramp. Kane and Undertaker exchange blows but move to the ring. Kane hits a chokeslam and a piledriver on The Undertaker. The pyros go off in the ring posts and Kane leaves ringside.
Dark Match Main Event:
* World Heavyweight Champion Kane vs. The Undertaker. Undertaker hits a chokeslam on Kane but Kane leaves the ring getting himself counted out. Winner via count out, The Undertaker.

I know exactly who to blame for this. I won't say who, but I have very reliable sources who told me the identity of the person responsible.
I bet it was somejuan out to get you.

I got more to come, but here are a few pics of the opening segment. Peep show sign was in the way to see Alberto for the most part.

Cheap seats FTW
Those are lower bowl, chief. Some of the best seats in the place.
Shit RG, I think you were like right next to me. Up until Smackdown, I was in section 123, row 11. Slid down to ringside after NXT.

Not the cheapest, but they could have been. Entire upper bowl was tarped off, the worst I have seen at JLA since I've been going there.

I was 124, row 15, so definitely not far. I was one of the only people in my section that stood for most of the entrances. And I had about 20 kids around me, which should be expected now in PG-WWE.
I kept monkeying around with the camera all night cus I never seem to get the best pictures. Kept changing the settings and the zoom.
I thought about moving since there were still a bunch of empty seats, especially non-camera side. But I had a great view so cant really complain. Ive had way worse seats.

How is that a contradiction?
You call them some of the best seats, he says they might well have been the cheapest. How is that not a contradiction?

If they were the cheapest, it's only because they weren't selling upper deck. Regardless, cheap does not equal bad. Joe Louis is a lot smaller than it looks on TV. You get a perfect view of the ring, ringside, titantron, and entrance way. I'd much rather sit there then be 10 rows back on the floor.

I only said they could be because I could have bought the cheapest, and gotten moved down due to the entire upper deck being blocked off. But they are the best seats around. And like Blitz said, they maybe cheaper but I would much rather have those seats again than being 10 rows back on the main floor.

Ok, that changes everything. How much are the floor seats compared to the seats you guys were in? Any idea about ring side seats?

Hmmm, they cut a 5 second clip of Swagger, Chavo, Vickie, Dolph and Kaitlyn in the back before Swagger came out.

No idea, honestly. I haven't paid for WWE tickets in at least 10 years.

Just finished watching this weeks Smackdown. Odd week. It actually looked better on paper than it did on video. That's weird.
Christian vs Punk was slow and didn't do anything for me until the last bit with Big Show.
The rest of the show just kinda drug on. I did like the opening tag team match quite a bit however.
