Do you think they'd do this? Barrett already attacked Taker on the 900th episode. Taker still hasn't got his revenge yet
I know there's talk about Cena vs. Taker, but I don't see that happening
Do you think they'd give Barrett the mega push just in time for WrestleMania? I can honestly see him ending the streak

I don't think Barrett would beat Taker at Mania. In a lot of cases I can remember, a lot of people don't win at their first Mania. Maybe not a lot of people, but some names come to mind. HHH comes to mind, not that he was that big at the time, but recently Sheamus comes to mind. He was just off of his title run and he jobbed to HHH. I can maybe see Sheamus fighting Taker at Mania.

It's possible.... but The Streak should never (EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVER) be broken by anyone, PERIOD!

Undertaker has been very prevalent at the last few Wrestlemanias I would not mind him taking a mid card spot for a year facing off against Barrett. What a big rub for Wade that would be!
The streak has gotten to a point where it can't be a midcard match.

I really want to see the streak underplayed for this next WM... upper-mid-card (maybe between title matches) would be fine. Unless they turn Cena (not happening) or bring in somebody ridiculously huge like Sting (not happening), the match should not be the main event and it will not in any way live up to the Taker vs. HBK matches of the last two years.
I like Wade Barrett a lot and wouldn't mind seeing him pushed to the extent that he could give Taker a good, entertaining match. If they pushed Barrett hard enough, it could even make a win for him believable, which is the key to any Taker WM match these days. Scoff all you want at that but I don't trust WWE 100% to keep the streak safe, thus there would be that niggling doubt in the back of my mind - enough to make me sit on the edge of my seat and mark out for every Taker kick-out. Might even be the making of Wade, even when he gets his ass beaten.

I would rather see that than Sheamus

I think that Barrett v. Taker could be interesting. Especially given Takers ring style. I would like to see Barrett get a new finish, and maybe play his bareknuckle background just a small bit more.
I don't think he should touch the streak, but I'd like to see Taker just barely squeak out the win.

While I agree that it would be a gigantic rub for Wade, I don't think it would necessarily be a midcard match. The Nexus have been main event heels since they showed up, and if you set it up as Streak vs. Nexus' existence, I think you can book the match pretty high up on the card.
By that time, Nexus would be about 8-9 months old and probably would have run its logical course on Raw...would be a great way to end the angle, and elevate Barrett into a marquee spot at Mania.

A street fight at mania would be cool but I don't see him ending the streak at all. IF that had him end the streak It should be planned to where Barrett looks like he has no chance in hell. Basically make him look weak then have him pull the major upset.......

Sheamus lost at Wrestlemania yes, but I don't see how how he jobbed. It was a hard fought match and Sheamus got alot of offense in. HHH jobbed at WM12, but if its a hard fought match and someone loses I don't cosider it jobbing.

Too early for Barrett since he would need a massive push to be seen as a legit threat. It looked like this would have been possible since he was the boss of the Nexus but Nexus has been loosing momentum ever since the Team Cena vs Nexus ppv match.

Far too early for Barrett really. The streak is basically more important than any title and it needa a proper established megastar to make the most of it. Orton vs Taker II would be amazing. I think they should save Cena for Takers last Wrestlemania.

Wouldn't mind it, certainly better than the Sheamus idea. You would always have the threat of Nexus(if they're all still around) interfering and costing him the streak.

Can I see Barrett vs Taker at WM?
Yes, in a heart beat.
Can I see Barrett over Taker at WM?
No, but maybe in 2-3 years.
Interesting. Do I think Barrett would break the streak? No. But at this point I don't think anyone will, so I'd have to watch a Taker Wm match just for the stroyline/match quailty.
They're gonna be hard pressed to top HBK v Taker but those were exceptional matches and we shouldn't hold every future Taker WM match up for comparison.
Ideally, working off the basis that Taker has 2 Manias left, I'd like to see HHH v Taker and Cena v Taker. Those are probably the biggest matches for him and they create that "Will they break the streak?" mystique. But keep both matches non-title.
Personally, I'd love a young up and comer (like Barrett) to be the one to end the streak but I just don't see it happening.
